Naysayers Unite

A quick shout out to all UNNA (United Naysayers of North America). As you know, Joey A. was scheduled to speak at next weeks meeting but had to withdraw citing a conflict of interest. He suggested we contact cookie man, who according to Joey, has an excellent program intitled: "The Glaring Similarities Between Vacuum Cleaners and CTE." Cookie man, if you're out there give duckie a call. Limosine service will be provided.
Now to other business... :)

The UNNA motto: ANIMADVERTO, LEDO, PLANTO
(See it, hit it, make it) then move on, for crissakes.
Tramp, be happy to speak. Valley forge convention center, lower level, you know where the gambling tables are. What time?

Everyone, if you want a lesson from a non-woofer--- get a lesson from Roger. He knows more about this topic than anyone. After all, he authored three super articles on the subject.

I'm glad you finally realize that, Dave. After all, virtually everything I had to say about CTE in my articles has proved to be correct by this one thread. ;)

I believe you're a hypocrite Sir! No offense. Surely none takin! I believe your a hypocrite both in your article as well as your post above. I believe your intent and malice was already preconceived well before you thought about writing either!! Did you once ever consider going to the source whether it be Hal or the professional instructor you spoke so highly of!!
Again, I believe not!! Nuff said!!

Thanks for the advice Roger. Nice sentiments as usual, but woofing? Is that what you call it? You're entitled to your opinion but what you describe as woofing is more along the lines of the diarrhea diatribe screamed by Moammar Gadhafi?

Joey, please refrain from mentioning diarrhea on this forum. "Two Tooth" Sally was a friend to many of us here and died, not long ago, from complications brought on by CED, or Chronic Explosive Diarrhea.
The complications occurred when the guy she was giving a lap dance to shot her after she spewed crap all over him. :)

I just noticed a strange coincidence. CED sounds similar to CTE.

You always manage to raise the bar.. or maybe it just looks higher up after I've fallen down. :thud:

The problem is, you just didn't get it, pablo. Or maybe you already had your mind made up that you didn't want to get it. Understanding the true meaning of my articles and posts is something that can come quickly to some people, but not to all. Some have to read them several times before they even start to get it. It may take weeks or months, but for those who persevere, they all eventually get it. :)

But if you haven't gotten it yet, or have no intention of ever getting it, or haven't put in the required time to get it, or haven't called me to get it; then you are just a naysayer, and have no right to comment on my articles or posts. :p

Don't be a naysayer, pablo. Get it while it's still free. It's the real deal!

I would travel the 18 hours to Kentucky and back 10 times over to see Stan before I would even think of getting instruction from you sir.

Just make sure you don't go by canoe. It can hurt. Know what I mean?
If you happen to run into a kid playing a banjo, don't stop.

Yes, I am guessing Lou meant John as well.

Perfect! I respect John and what he says. He is one of our greatest ambassadors. What a great person and player. And I sincerely appreciate his perspective of any aspect of pool.

Having said that, Landon would love to play 10 ball with John. Landon will play cheap sets and we can do that in John's room and we can do it often.

Also, I would offer John cte/lessons on me so that he could share his perspective with everyone on AZ.

If John is Lou's reference, then I doubt that John would say he could crush Landon like a grape in 10 ball.

Also, for Lou, Landon's college fund is in tact and he will be pursuing a college education upon graduation from high school. There is no need for you to worry about Landon's college funding.

First off, I think it is important to note that I did not identify the source. And so I would caution against speculation.

Also, equally important to note and as I said a few weeks ago: I spoke to *several* world class pros at the DCC this year -- I mean stone cold gilt-edge champions -- and, to a man, they all actually laughed out loud when I asked about aiming systems, basically saying: "What aiming system -- there are too many things to factor in on every shot to use anything but instinct."

Lastly, I don't give two hoots about your son's college -- that was merely a suggestion considering your willingness to encourage your son to gamble. I know we all did it, but my father would have had a conniption if he knew. YMMV.

So who's going to be at the meeting?

WOW, the naysayers have been invited to the gambling tables at valley forge and what do I hear..............Complete silence. That says alot, close the thread.

Earlier in the thread, you spoke to a *pro* about aiming systems. Now, you spoke to *SEVERAL* -- as if that helps you make your point. If we give you enough time, you would have taken a poll with the entire WPA player roster.

Somehow it's hard to imagine you having a round-table discussion about aiming systems when many of these pros are trying to warm up. What's more likely is how you probably walked into a bathroom and took the urinal that was right beside another *pro* (even though the row was empty) just to ask him about aiming systems.

Urinals, aiming systems. At the hall I play at, there are some players that could certainly benefit from an aiming system. Man, if these guys can't hit a huge porcelain thingy on the wall, it makes me wonder how they can hit a small pocket with a ball.

Like I said I said in a post weeks ago -- I posted that I had spoken to several pros at the DCC in the 14.1 Challenge room about aiming systems. If you have as big a hard on, as you seem to have about all this, you'll search my posts and find it. Uddewise, you can go pound sand for all I care :-)

I'm guessing you won't go look because then you'd look even stupider than you do now.

Here you go Einstein -- I know how strongly you feel about standing by what you write and apologizing when you're wrong.

I got my copy last Saturday and have it sitting on my desk. I haven't had time to watch it yet, but when I do I'll post my review, FWIW.

Interestingly, while at the DDC I had several discussions about this system with some world champion type players. I mean: certified gilt-edged champions. In fact one of them was aware of my previous participation in some of these threads and, unsolicited, offered his strong, rather unequivocal opinion. Like I said, it was interesting :-)
