Looking for a Table Mechanic in the Martinsburg, WV area. I am moving, so I will be tearing down the table and moving it to the new house. I need someone well equiped to reassemble, level, and recover. I can do it all, but not very well. So, any help would be most appreciated.

I'm about 8 hours away and wouldn't be able to get to it for about a month. If interested, PM me, and we'll talk details.

Is his contact info available in the list linked above?

EDIT: Didn't find it.

Josh

Pretty sure this is his number 610-812-4023

He's not presently listed in the directly - as are a lot of other people not listed
since the directory was changed to require mechanics to post up some pics of
their work via a link. Some mechanics haven't had the time to do this yet so it
shouldn't be considered derogatory.

Not to hijack the thread, but I noticed the other day that Glen doesn't appear to be listed any more either, and he has posted TONS of pics.

Yes he has, as has Donnie, Mark and some other folks. Problem is the pics are scattered thruout the forum which in turn requires a user of the directory to have to search to find them. Having a link to your web page, blog or even just a thread with your pics and any other info you care to provide makes the directory a more efficient tool for researching listed mechanics.

You may recall we started with just names and numbers and wound up with people that never posted or answered a question - IOW no clue who some of those folks were or any hint of their experience. To improve that I added the color legend to let directory users know which mechanics were active posters that contributed to the forum and further expanded the legend acknowledging which mechanics actually posted pics of their work. All good until a directory user asks - wheres the pics?

Where we're at now is a more user friendly directory and I think we've weeded out the unknowns. The call has been put out many times for folks that want to be listed to provide a link to pics, info, etc. but I'm not going to twist arms to get them to do it. The directory is a free marketing tool for those that want to take advantage of it and comply with the simple requirements. I'd think if someone got even 1 job from being listed it's worth the 20-30 minutes it takes to throw something together for a pic link.

And for the uninformed, the directory goes way beyond just users of this forum. Google "pool table mechanics" for proof.

I think Glen's sticky on leveling a table can be the link to qualify him as it's already at the top of the forum. The guy did build this forum. At least from where I'm standing.

Definitely true. In fact, I think if you Google "Absolute Billiard Service", my last AZ post usually comes up as one of the first links. :) Sometimes I have to remember that when posting! Nah, just kidding, I've NEVER said anything on here that could be taken wrong or as offensive. ;)
