Is that a Soft, Medium or Hard Tip. I Dont want something that is Super Hard.

Thanks
Steve
It is very hard and holds chalk very well. It is not a phenolic though . If you want a leather tip that is very hard there are a couple different companies that make leather break tips. I know Talisman is one of them and I think Tiger as well.

I recently switched from phenolic to the white diamond, and it is super hard, but I am very impressed. Holds chalk well, breaks well, jumps super easy. Last night i was able to jump masse for the first time. Some have said they have a tendancy to pop off the ferrule, but I have not witnessed this. I highly reccoment the WD for break and jump cues. I have also tried the superpro tip (water buffalo i think) and it performs very well if your looking to stick with leather.

tiger jump break tip is very hard leather. talisman bk is also leather and slightly softer than the tiger j/b. super pro tip is layered wb and harder than both the tiger and talisman.
the white diamond is a resin based tip, it is going to be similar to phenolic. i did find it to be very hard and i didn't find it to hold chalk well at all. i really didn't like it at all. the old formula wd's i liked better, but they are hard to glue

I have had the White Diamond tip on my break cue for over 3 years now and have not had one problem with it popping off or anything like that. I agree with everything you said.

I agree, the superpro plays very well. I have one installed on my 2nd playing shaft.

I have also experimented with a Kamui hard on a break cue, and it broke very well. That cue is a jump/break, and the kamui makes it very difficult to jump.

Break cue tip

I've used Sumo solid not layered water buffalo tips with good success on my break cue. A couple of my friends use them also and they like them.

I've got 2 shafts for my Mezz break cue, one has a Tiger break tip on it and the other has a White Diamond. I've been really impressed with the Tiger, i breaks really well for a leather tip but personally i prefer the White Diamond and so has everyone who's tried them.
