Need help naming a Pool Room

If you like riding the 9-ball or like to play for money, how about:

"Cheese Factory" :)

Wow, I'm really glad I posted this question, becasue I am really not creative when it comes to words and names. I was thinking of "Double D's" after my dad and I, but then my wife pointed out the obvious; so scratch that.

I think you are on to somehing, not Double D's, but to name it after your dad.

He was in an awful lot of the pictures working away, it would be a good tribute to name it after him.

I don't know his first name, but Daddy O's or Pop's Place come to mine.

What ever you do .... enjoy the room, and especially enjoy the time spent with your dad building it.

Dads' Backyard Billiards.

plural possessive.

For quick speaking:

--Honey, I'll be out at...

the DBB,
the D double B, or just:
Dads'.

Yep, thats my dad, working away.

Eustas'.............................

Back when I ''used to'' be able to draw my ball....

Somewhere in the name you want people to know that besides pool there is drinks and i don't know if there is food, but i would want to convey that into the name.

Long ago there was bar in Madison, WI called "The Church Key".

In case you're not old enough to appreciate the double entendre, a "church key" was slang for a bottle opener, usually kept on one's keychain.

How about "City Limits Billiards'.

I love stained glass and have quite a few personal pieces that I can enjoy from my table at home. Stained glass itself can be a whole design theme. But you need to get the good stuff. PM me if you need help...I know someone who had an entire restaurant with lots of stained glass that he accumulated over the past 50 years.

This is probably a bit too fancy for a family pool hall, but it's alll aboiut what you want to accomplish. Remember to get the entire design thought out before you start...if you piecemeal things your room will look like it.

Sconces, pendants and table lamps are also nice toches:

Sorry- I'm slightly confused by some of the responses and concerns.

Is this going to be your own private little poolroom, where guests will be friends and family, or is this a small business? If the latter- I've been in many places this size, I just didn't realize it was a public thing.

nice

another name

Here's another name (along with variations) to consider:
Pop's Ball Room
Or use Dad's or Daddy's or his first name.
By the way, I'm loving following your project.
Maybe even The Ball Room would work...

Pool Players Pad
Empty Pockets (my personal favorite)
You Name Man Cave
Shoot Em Up
Pool Players Paradise
Home Away From Home
Shootin Pool & Sippin Suds
The Action Room

Does your Dad play?
Lots of great names on the list but after all your Dad did on the project, I would feel that the name would have to honor him in a way.

And I think he would be proud to have the name of the room reflect on him too.
