Need Help on a pretty Schon Ltd.

If Ebay is a judge of the secondary market, pretty much all of the Schon cues go for the $500-600 range. That is for the nicer cues...lower models go for a little less, extremely nice models go for a little more.

I honestly don't feel that a second shaft would increase the selling power of the cue, so what I would suggest is to sell the cue with one shaft, and then sell the second shaft separately.

I have a Danny Stout with almost 100 inlays just refinished that has a brand new Predator shaft That I will trade you even for. If you want pics or to ask questions call me at 832-641-5807. My name is Jason.

I have had about 40 Schon cues..from just looking at the cue...I would say approx 500.00...for the RIGHT person..maybe 600.00 ....Its pretty though. I looked at the closeups of the cue....I will have to say I would think it would really be worth AS IS...500-600

Just curious as to what a "Danny Stout" cue is? I've seen you offer to trade it straight up for many cues of various values. Do you have a picture of the cue? You might want to try starting your own thread for the sale or trade of your cue.

When it comes to Schon's, I'm definitely with Bama on this one. I have 2 older LTD models (both with the older Schon in the collar shafts), and I bought each for $500. Unless you find someone looking for the exact cue you have, trying to get $700 or more, even on Ebay, is a tough sell.

Provided that everything is in mint condition:

This Schon cue is worth at least around $700-$900 with one shaft. The age of this cue is a huge, huge plus being an older cue.

Depending on the condition, the 2nd shaft is worth at least $100-$175 due to the way the "Schon" logo is written.

Using Ebay market to judge what a cue is worth is like using the "foreclosure" housing prices to judge what a home is worth. "foreclosure" and Ebay are ways to generate immediate cash. They are both not accurate.

for the past month or so I don't recall any Schon LTD cues going through ebay for $500, most seem to be going through at 700+. I was actively looking for a $500ish ltd, but i havent been paying as close attention for the past couple weeks. If you list it on either ebay or AZ, you can always pick a price on the higher end of the spectrum to see how it goes, and lower it in the thread or on a re-listing.
