OK....I'm looking at the Main Forum Page...And I see, "Need help with my balls....." Well I had a little giggle and had to look at the thread. Can someone put in plain english the chart that is in the bca rule book pertaining to interfering balls in rack? cueball in rack, cueball and break ball etc.
On an aside, one of the most misunderstood end positions is when the OB is in the kitchen and the CB ends up in the rack. Then you place the CB on the head spot and you are allowed to shoot backwards at the remaining OB that is in the kitchen.
i never knew this. i would have guessed that the cue would be "ball in hand" behind the head string and that one would be able to shoot directly at the break ball from anywhere behind the head string. On an aside, one of the most misunderstood end positions is when the OB is in the kitchen and the CB ends up in the rack. Are you 100% sure about this one? I've always played that you couldn't shoot at the ball that is in the kitchen. We always played in BIH in the kitchen but you had to shoot out of the kitchen first.
