Why don't you add just a little to it and get a Lomax jump cue. It is the best jump cue I have tried without a doubt. Shannon Daulton, Larry Nevel, Stevie Moore, Louis Ulrich and many others swear by the Lomax cues.

His number at the shop is 706-776-1252.

Ditto on the Lomax.

I have 2 unchalked J&J jump cues, 4404 and 4409 in stock and ready to ship for $50 each!

These are unbeatable for the price, jump very well!
I used one 4407 before I designed my own jump cue (also seen in the link), so I sold the J&J cue.

Jacoby Jumper

I just bought a Jacoby Jumper from KOINNKID on here a few weeks ago for around the $100 range. Best price you'll find around here and fast shipping.
Having used a Cutec jump cue for a year or two I was fairly decent doing my occasional jumps. My cutec was heavy so I couldn't jump close, but could easily jump half a 9' table. With its leather tip it was easy to put english on my jumps too, so I was worried about the G10 tip on the Jacoby.
To my surprise the G-10 tip handles english very well. I have been able to apply english after contact as well as a couple of jump massee shots, (although I am not good enough to consistently jump masse). I can also jump a 1 ball distance, and I am still able to jump half a table. I have acutally been able to draw a few inches with shorter jump shots too, again no consistent, but thats the user. You cannot go wrong with it.

Best of luck!

Hey Guys,

I have a Falcon cue and a Bungee Jump cue for sale. I bought the cue off of a friend that needed the money and won the jump cue in vegas. The jump cue sells for $50 and the Falcon cue was bought off of ebay fro $275. I will sell the jump cue for $40 and the Falcon cue for $250. The pics show the only blemish that I can find on the Falcon cue.

Please PM me if interested.

My paypal userid is pooljunky@bellsouth.net

The usps shipping is $5.69

Do a search of the thread by typing in "falcon". Look for the title "Jump cue and Falcon cue (similar to co-4)" and you will see the pics of the jump cue.

Thanks

I own about ten different jump cues and jump break cues and personally have found the best straight up jump cue to be the Jacoby I bought from Koinikkid with the g10 tip. This is a dedicated jump cue and I'm able to make balls, put english on the ball and jump over less than a chalk cube in front of the ball.

This is squared up against the following.

1. Varney custom j/b (2 shafts with canvas resin and another with the phenolic tip). This isn't a bad cue its just kind of heavy for my tastes. I may sell it.

2. Gulyassey sledgehammer gen 1 and 2. This is a pretty good combo jump/break for the money. The older ones are pretty crappy because the taper is so aggressive.

3. J&J with phenolic tip. I have another with the phenolic tip/ferrule combo. I think I actually like the one with the dedicated phenolic tip the best. I bought this cue for literally $45 at the dcc a few years ago and is without a doubt the best for the money I've tried.

4. A players with a one piece phenolic tip. This thing actulaly isn't bad at all. if they didn't put that silly ass quick release joint I think it would be a real heavy hitter for the money.

5. Predator Air - honestly this is probably the worst jump cue I own.

6. An older jacoby jump cue with just a straight up phenolic tip. this is the 2nd best jump cue I own, the g10 on the other jacoby really puts it over the top.

7. A really old school porper "porcupine" rod style jump cue thats probably 20mm around and like 24" long. It looks like a dowel rod with a huge phenolic tip. These were popular for a while in the mid 90s and absolutely ridiculously easy to use. Obviously this is not tournament legal.

8. A hammerhead jump/break with the one piece phenolic tip/ferrule combo. This cue has the wood pin in the shaft.

9. Predator BK2 - The best and most versatile break cue I own. I use this cue as my primary breaker.

10. An old meucci jump cue - we won't even go there.

11. Xbreaker - this is a great overall break/jump cue but honestly I feel like the cueball is escaping me when I break with it. I don't feel as controlled as I do with the BK2.

lol! Kinda with you on that one.

Great review overall! :D

The only one you don't have, is the one I think is the best...Stealth AT-1...a fantastic 3-piece jump cue, for $100!

hrm I might try that out then.

This is why I love having the DCC in my backyard, I can go and try out almost anything I want there.
