Hello all,
I was looking for a little power in numbers. I have a 5 year old autistic son who was in a holiday contest to win a $2500 therapy scholarship from a local charity, unfortunately he did not make the finals but a classmate did so we are trying everything we can do to help them win. If you have the time could you click the link below and simply like story # 3 that would be great. Contest runs till Christmas Eve

Thanks,
Biz

I'm Face Book Challenged. I would love to like Story number 3 but I can't see where to Like it.

I can see, Manna Jo. Story 3 but I can't read it or go further than that.

Gimme a hand here, I'd appreciate it.

Add two more, one from me and one from my wife. She is an administrator at a special-needs school and sees lots of kids throughout the autistic spectrum. Happy Holidays to you and your child.

I too am involved in helping less fortunatey children. We just did a huge event here in our little village. We made 1074 banana pancakes in the city center and raised over 2000PLN for a local boy for rehabilitation. He has Cerebral Palsy. The event also collected 300+ toys and delivered them via our decorated city bus to a local school dedicated to children with special needs. 173 children in that school. Then we went to the hospital and delivered more. It was a GREAT weekend.

Would love to help out here with a thumbs up and help promote the cause, just can't figure out exactly how.

Our facebook page with 100's of photos of our event.

Thanks again everyone for the huge support. For those having trouble, once you click the link and scroll down there may be a "more post" button you might have to click to see story #3 once you get there just hit the like button.

Thanks Again,
Biz

Got it figured out....

Loved reading all the personal stories. I'd like to share a video I saw some time ago and just watched again. Not being personally connected with anyone with Autism I can't speak from personal experience, yet I believe many will find this fulfilling and rewarding to watch. Merry Christmas to you all and your families.

Great video, as I parent of a child with ASD I love seeing the potential of these kids. At 5 my child is non verbal but to watch him do some of the things he does is amazing, I love watching the way he problem solves. One of his favorite things to do is puzzles he does not understand how to throw a ball back and forth but he is up to doing almost 100 piece puzzles in a very short time with only looking at the picture once or twice!

I am the legal guardian of my autistic brother, so I'm in. As far as I am concerned, autism is the result of our vaccine program. Anyone with autism in their family should look into this, the statistics are overwhelming.

We have looked into it as a matter of fact are doctor is not the happiest with us cause we have stopped his shots.
