New Aiming System

aiming systems to confusing just oput the ball in the pocket

i always wondered how you use cte when most of the racks i have run at least 2 of the shots had to hit half a pocket because of blocking balls

BUMP for SpiderSight(tm)

For those who take advantage of this right now, I'll send you a free carrying case:

manila-envelope.jpg

That carrying case looks like a Pinoy Paperboy.

Do all of these procedures really have precise explanations? Which produces precise aim, without feel, that average real-life players like the ones who post here can use on more than a few shots? If so thanks for the detailed information!!

Of course, each numbered item in the steps above can be broken down into an infinite number of sub-items. For example:

1) "Reach for the SpiderSight(tm) during the time of need" can have the following sub-steps:

a) Take cigarette out of mouth and place into ash tray
b) Murmur how your opponent was a luckbox to even LEAVE you in such a tough situation
c) Grab the carrying case (posted above) and reach into it (open it first)
d) Grab the SpiderSight(tm) GENTLY and pull it out of the carrying case

....

As you can see, each step and sub-steps can be broken down into an infinite number of consequent sub-steps. This is something you'd find obvious but you have to TRY IT AT THE TABLE. I'm not going to let you guys knock SpiderSight(tm) without putting in the time at the table and seeing how it works.

It's like so OBVIOUS it works it's a joke.

this system is great even accounts for the half pocket shot where path is blocked

Dude, exactly. If you only have enough room in the pocket to make the OB--- just point SpiderSight(tm) to the center of the gap and WHAMO! The ball drops sweet-like.

Don't sweat it--- the others will come around sooner or later. They don't get stuff as fast as you.

This method takes a seemingly INFINITE game like pool and basically reduces it to only 90 shots (1 shot per degree in each direction).

But what about shots that are between the 90 shot angles that your system uses?
If you're relying on pocket slop for the shot to go, then the system can't be exact or precise.

I suppose it will work if you use "feel" to adjust for those other shots, though.

Redneck--

If you need a 1/2 degree adjustment, you simply twist SpiderSight(tm) 1/2 degree!!! That's as exact as it gets, my friend.

Nothing else can claim exactness like SpiderSight(tm).

So with all of this talk about CTE, 90/90, PITTH, double-the-distance, ghostball, etc, I thought I'd share my latest aiming method. I've taken the best of each method and combined it to form the most deadly method in the galaxy. It's called SpiderSight(tm).

SpiderSight(tm) will make every conceivable shot in pool, is geometrically correct, and can be learned in two seconds. You can use it with english and you can even tweak it to figure in collision-induced throw.

This method takes a seemingly INFINITE game like pool and basically reduces it to only 90 shots (1 shot per degree in each direction). Why waste your entire life trying to learn a gazillion shots when SpiderSight(tm) brings it down to an easy-to-manage 90. Most of you can learn 90 shots in two days. You're brilliant people.

As an added feature, you can twist SpiderSight(tm) 90 degrees and use it to figure carom angles. It literally does everything.... I'm not kidding.

The best thing about SpiderSight(tm) is when you're in the heat of action (whether you're gambling, tournament play or your favorite league) and you're totally lost on what the hell to do, you can pull SpiderSight(tm) out of your pocket, unfold it and place it on the table for an instant heads-up display on how to pocket the ball. Your opponent will be PISSED--- but, that's only because they don't have their own SpiderSight(tm).

Even though I spent tons of money on aiming research and graphics design / CAD work, I'm offering SpiderSight(tm) to AzB members for free by right-clicking and SAVE IMAGE AS to your PC's Desktop. Then, you can print it at work or at home for the latest in billiards aiming technology.

I'm so convinced that SpiderSight(tm) will change your life, I'm letting you print it TWICE--- that's two for the price of zero. Can't beat that.

Finally, you don't even need to know where the pocket is. Just point SpiderSight(tm) in the direction you actually want the OB to go and it'll go there. Set it and forget it. Good luck and enjoy.

Just put the yellow spot underneath the OB and aim for the red spot on the spider's abdomen! Can it be that easy? YES!

SpiderSight!!!

Best be careful Dave, Jeanette Lee might be upset and someone might have a copyright on your carrying case!! lmao.

Dave, I like this!! It systematically puts the shooter's eyes, stick, body (and, not incidentally, mind) in a consistent pre-determined starting position for each shot, and focuses attention on the consistency and precision of these actions and subsequent ones like them.

Where is the Pivot ???????????????????? :grin-square:
Pool tools for fools ( I meant pool )
Keep up the great work  Bud
R.... will be impreesed lol

I want a refund. You can send $0.00 to my paypal account. I tried this "proven" method. My opponent said it kept bugging him, and he kept poking it with his cue while I was shooting to see if it would crawl. His constant poking of it knocked it off line, and made me miss many shots!

To top it off, the room owner came over with a big can of raid and emptied that sucker on it! My eyes were stinging so bad from all the spray that I could barely see. I put my cue up, had a coughing fit, then forgot I had put my cue up and in all the fog from the spray I apparently grabbed my opponents cue too!

He was frantically running around clawing at his eyes yelling that someone stole his cue. I didn't want mine stolen too, so I hightailed it out of there! After I got home, I got a call from the room owner saying I was no longer allowed there because it cost him a new cloth from all the Raid he sprayed on it.:( Now, I'm stuck staying home just playing with myself. Oh well, that can be fun too!

Neil,

I know everyone isn't as smart as me so I thought I'd throw ya a bone. Based on what you said, don't you think there'd be a market for one of these puppies:

We'll all pretend you came up with it yourself ;) ;)

Even though I like the idea, I can't trust a system that doesn't cost at least $40 and require personal phone lessons by the author. On top of that, this thing can be easily understood by somebody who isn't even baptized! No way I'm going for this.

But what if the pocket moves after I shoot ? how about if my opponent moves the balls after I place the spider? Are you sure I can make more than 6 cut shots with this?

Is this a center pocket system? I only use center pocket systems. The only problem I have is I can never cheat a pocket!

Best,
Mike

I know a guy who eyesight isn't very good anymore. He's hoping your making a braile version.
PS - the carrying case alone is well worth the price.
