New black phenolic supplier

If anyone is looking for good black linen phenolic there is a new source. David Warther now has it for sale as well as some other good materials. I was able to get several samples of this phenolic rod and I am very pleased with it. It machines nice, is not pitted, finishes nice, and is very black. He calls it Jet-Phen® black phenolic. I have used the samples in a cue and will continue using it.

Yeah that's gona dent his wallet. He's screwed is somebody comes out with a hard dark brown/red.

I asked David about this and he said that the reason is because the material arrived 40 inches in length which made three 12 inch and an odd 4 inch so he's offering the short pieces at a discount for those who can use them knowing the waste may be greater.
