New case against smoking

I must add a point here....

Why would any owner invest the thousands of dollars for a quality air filtration system today when the Coercive Control Freaks might make it moot tomorrow?

Ask that place (Chalkers?) in downtown San Franciso at the Linkon (sp) Center that installed a very expensive unit and the next year it was worthless due to the non-smoking rules.

Nevermind, you can't ask them....they're out of business.

^^ the fans and ducting would only cost $1200.00 and if the owner installed it himself (easy task) the install would be free. It's more of a high powered ventilation system rather than a filter system. Nothing gets recirculated. It was a suggestion...
 
You must not live in a hot climate. How would you air condition a place when you're sucking out all the cold air?
 
^^^ you could add carbon filter canisters to the intake end of the ducting and recirculate the clean air. The carbon filter cans are $70.00 a piece and last up to 2 years. How about that?

Then you might as well have an air filtration system which doesn't work well enough. I'm telling you, if my pool hall has multiple air filtration systems bigger than a frig and that doesn't work, you're carbon filter can isn't going to cut it.

I don't get it, flash. Wouldn't that jet airliner have to stop and re-fuel in order to go around that star? And, wouldn't it burn up on it's approach to landing? Do the pilot and co-pilot were protective suits? What about the flight attendants? No one seems to care about them anymore. :)

Pool halls and bars are private property. We're not talking about a school or the freakin' post office here. You really don't have a dog in the fight unless you have $$ at stake in the business.

Lol, you're the one telling everyone what *might* work on here. I'm telling you what has been proven not to work. If you think a $70 can is going to absorb all of the smoke from a pool hall I won't waste any more time arguing with you.

Well , I wanted to share a pic of the case re-stained . Jim Murnak had made this for me in a light brown. His work is still clearly seen. I did not mean to start a fire storm regardless of what one or two might think. So, here it is.

I didn't forget.... I just ignored my self imposed ban. I implemented the ban, and I can lift it as well. What is funny is why that bothers you so!! SO, for the record the ban is back in effect until further notice.......
