Here are a few pictures of a case I just finished up for DWBOD. He wanted something a little different than the teardrop shape I usually do, so we decided that I'd try one with a panel up the back like most of the other case makers use. It was fun to try something a little different than I usually do and I think that it turned out really nice. Thanks Doug, I hope you enjoy it!

Rusty,
all i can say is :bow-down::clapping:
Your cases are getting better and better and that´s for sure another piece of art from you.
I like your teardrop design a little better, but that´s only me. :D
Congrats to you and Doug - wow,
Erich

Awesome case Doug! Congrats!
I do have a question... I have never seen a case from Rusty with pockets... Is there such a case out there?

I think the case turned out fantastic Rusty. I appreciate you working with me on it and deviating from your comfort zone a little bit. I can't wait to see it!

Thanks,

Doug

Awesome Rusty! Your tooling and finish work is just incredible. And your attention to detail is perfect. Thank you for sharing the before and after pictures. It's nice to see how much work that goes into making a case of this caliber. Very very inspiring!

Mental note: get a ceramic blade for my knife like Rusty!

What a beautiful case! I am ashamed to admit but I was not a big fan of cases that were covered in tooling. Since I have joined AZ my opinion has changed dramatically. Doug, you have one of the best collection of cases and this one will fit right in. Exceptional craftsmanship! Rusty you are one of the most talented casemakers out there.

Congratulations,
Chris
