New Cushions for GC III

Hi, All.

I have to replace the cushions on a nine foot GC III I just bought. The choices are narrowed down to Championship Tour Edition or Black Diamond. I know many players like Artemis and SuperSpeed, but right now, I want to go with either the Tours or the Diamonds.

I've got a good recommendation from a table mechanic for the Tours, but before deciding, I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with the Black Diamonds.

I personally won't use the tour cushions...they're to soft and slow playing. The Diamond black K55's are a much better choice.

RKC put Black Diamond on my GC ll 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the cushions or any other aspect of the table :thumbup:

I have not heard anything negative about Black Diamond rails.

I played on a few GCs @Top Hat (MD) w/ Diamond Blacks that were tightened up real nice-like. I thought they played quite well...a good bit faster than than the other tables in the ojoint...and the OEM GC4 I have @home.

So I would say that they are a sure improvement over the standard Duperspeeds. Time for me to do my table too, guess I need some rubbers!:confused:
 
GC III Cushions

Gentlemen,

I appreciate your good opinions. After all consideration, I like the idea of the Diamonds being the faster of the two cushion choices. I ordered a set today.
