New Diamond table today !

Update!

These pro cut pockets are kicking my butt!!! I assume it will only make me better and quickly I hope! My old table, 8' BW had huge 5.25"+ pockets with BIG angles in the cushions, and a very short shelf depth. Almost everything got sucked into the holes. I am getting a lot that rattle out on this table but that's ok, I will keep at it and make my strokes and adjustments improved. The extra foot of the table is not as impactful as are the pocket sizes. It will be interesting when I go play league this Thursday on a bar box Valley. I love how this table banks, seems to be dead on, a little more dependent on speed control than my old BW. So far so good. I think I made a good choice, but I am swearing a lot more than usual......
 
table looks great, i am also interested in the light. maybe we can get a dark room pic with the light in use?

I had several requests for some pictures with my light on in an otherwise darkroom. Here are a couple that I just took with the pool table light the only light on, other than the glow of the TV and fireplace. Right now the light is about 37 inches above the slate.

So now that you have played on it for a few days, do you regret the size upgrade?

No I do not regret going to a nine footer. Although the pro cut pockets are definitely kicking my butt. I knew it would be frustrating for a month or two but then I will be better than ever.

It is the forum that restricts the #of attachments per post...and you found the max:1.

No comment on 'I must be stupid'.

(Stupid lucky with super awesome pool table in your house, that is)

^^^^^^ that is the only visible one in the house! The other ones are hidden but I could find them in the dark crawling around. If something happens, I wont have 15 minutes to wait for the police to arrive. :thumbup: edit: I see you are in Vegas, I will be there Tuesday for four or five days. Yearly outing with my brother to play some poker.
