Definitely edited ...
... Edited? Certainly looks like it is. ...
It's fake! Yes he does pot all the balls for a 147 but, for example at about 37s, he lets himself down with poor editing (watch him leave "stage left" and then come back in again immediately but from a different position).
Snooker is generally quicker and more fluent than pool. The pace of play in pool is an absolute disgrace.
At 37 seconds there is something a little funny about the video but I think it's a framerate/encoding defect. If you watch the cue ball across the glitch, it seems to move continuously. Is there some other part you think is bogus? It's fake! Nice catch. Here's the text below the posted video:
Well, I had this bet with Darren McVicar that he couldn't get a 147 quicker than Ronnie O'Sullivan (5mins 20secs). I gave him until Christmas to get it. Thought he had no chance! Thought it was easy money! How wrong I was! Incredible!!! 4 mins 49 secs Watch and be amazed!

I'm going to see if I can spot any fakery. Maybe there's some way also to see if it's been sped up.

I've seen players do amazing things practicing on club tables, which play much looser than proper tournament pockets. Playing with bigger pockets under very little pressure cant be compared to tournament play.
When I was in Thailand, I watched James Wattana shoot a 147 on the practice table and then do it AGAIN in the very next frame. And he's barely in the top 50 in the world ranking.
So, in other words, snooker is easy? :grin-square:
