I’ll be in New Haven tomorrow and the weekend. Looks like there’s several rooms around. Anyone know if any of the rooms have 9’ers with tight pockets or Diamond’s? I might be talked into a 9 ball tournament over the weekend if there’s no 1P action.

US1 Billiards in West Haven where Jayson Shaw plays I’m sure has some good tables, and likely some action for you.

Yale Billiards and US 1 Billiards come to mind- but I left CT. 5 years ago. Brian can steer you!

I just got tired of paying huge taxes to support a huge amount of people who never worked a day in their lives.
I’d be willing to bet the Deep South has CT beat in that department. They just disguise it better.

My buddy retired from Sheriff’s Office in Kali, moved to CT for big money job as investigator with insurance company.

He said Pa-theyicutte taxed everything, even his riding lawn mover,

Got to watch jtompilot in a little action last night. My only observation I will share is he was a complete gentleman in action. Sorry there wasn't any local tournaments we could direct you to.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay feel free to reach out for any recommendation you need.
Don't forget the try one of the big pizza names close to where you are staying. Sally's, Zuppardi's, Modern and Pepe's are the big 4 in most peoples opinion.
Oh and not far from where you are is a nice seafood place Shells and Bones if you are looking for a good lunch or dinner. It is right on the water so if the weather is good it is a nice view.

My copilot and I went to modern, I wasn’t impressed.

Bobby played pretty good, when I was in a shooting funk, he punished me. I was lucky to break even.
I went back to Yale again today and played Bobby again. They steamed most of three hours we played.
$20 day pass is great.

I was able to put together three sessions for jtompilot all at Yale Billiards, two against Bobby Hunt which were all 1p by the rack and after 10 hours of play they ended up dead even. Good showing, Jim.

Here's most of their day 2 action which we streamed:

Then yesterday (Sun) we put Tommy Jr up against Jim in a medley of mostly 1p with a little 9b mixed in. After two complete rounds, you guessed it, they were dead even. They decided to end with a race to 3 1p and Tommy edged Jim at hill hill for the hard fought win.

The takeaway: Jim is a great guy who was fun to have at the pool room. He is a very capable 1p player and he doesn't miss too many banks or kicks.

Glad we were able to get together and til the next time, safe travels, Sir.

best,
brian kc

Good match. Thanks for the video. Brian, you are becoming a media icon.

I'm definately jealous. The only action matches up here are ruined by an idiot promoter thinking he's a DJ.
