She is hinting U.S open coming true Pro Tournament and putting together amateur tournament on alongside.
Also talking about markets in U.S.A and stuff.

Some highlights I recall from watching this earlier today:

-No more “anyone who pays” can enter open events. Entry for non-tour members by qualifying tournaments only.

-Q School being set up to determine future tour members.

-Talks going well with WPA to hopefully avoid bans.

-Many pro players have poor fashion sense.

-MR produced events have increased from 3 to 12 per year.

skill wise? i would say so. he's like bustie speed.
They might still share the level but it's been a while since they were world beaters. I imagine they could get into the open no problem but MR wants to hold a separate pro event. Even the current young and the restless would have their hands full.

i would guess alcano is still top 15 in philippines but idk. maybe top 20. this new generation with bernie, amaroto etc is deep, very talented and constantly improving. see a new name every event it seems.

so it depends on how many gets qualifying spots the PI gets. would love to see him give it a go

If it gets to be a logjam I think the old garde would defer. The kids - even Raga and Aranas still have the youth to ride it out.

After watching the interview, I'm a little less upset about the purple five ball. ;)🟠

did you come up with this phrase? Rather catchy
"You go to war with the Army you have -- not the Army you might wish you have" is reprised in this book as a gem. You wouldn't know that quote earned Rumsfeld the ire of many an Iraq veteran after he said it to a soldier asking the defense secretary why his vehicle was insufficiently armored against insurgent bombs.

Or, in the words of the poet Yeats, "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"

Talks going well with WPA to hopefully avoid bans.
LOL. WPA has lost this battle. After its serious miscalculation, it now faces a scenario in which it can embrace weak fields in high-purse events and become a second-rate tour, surely a step in the direction of eliminating those events, or they can say "just kidding" and lift the ban.

To Matchroom's credit, it appears they are willing to let WPA wriggle out of this with its dignity somewhat intact. The older folks among us recall Richard Nixon's declaration of having achieved "peace with honor" in the negotiations that followed the end of the Vietnam War, which was lost in the early 1970s. WPA, similarly, needs "peace with honor" as they try to pick up the pieces after a lost war.

No doubt, WPA will claim they didn't intend the ban that attempted to monopolize their position by ripping pool apart at the seams, but only a few of us will be stupid enough to believe that. Their decision to impose this ban in the first place will find a place in the "Ripley's Believe it or Not" of our sport's history.

If we are about to enter a world in which WPA will get out of the way and let Matchroom do its thing, and I suspect we are, it should put a smile on the face of everyone who really cares about pro pool and its future.

God bless us all, everyone, but especially Matchroom.
