first off my lathe is not like chris's
second as far as accuracy its right on I also mentioned runout less then 2 10ths i believe that answers your question as i said it will be at the derby if you have any doubts come on down
The IDEA IS EXACTLY THE SAME: a cue lathe.
You constantly advertise items that sometimes never materialize with almost impossible to digest descriptions that lack ANY of the important info someone would need to know.
You ask for input on a keyboard that costs 4 times as much, but seems identical to others, and when I ask why yours is better you bash me instead of taking opportunity to say why?
Several times I have seen ideas on here only to see an "any interest in these" coming from.....
You have bashed other manufactures before with your live centers....
Who could blame anyone from trying to stop their typical supplier from wanting to sell to you??(if this really happened)
I've never heard of bearing problems(any problems really) with any of Chris' products and yet you use your "heavy duty" bearings as a selling point in contrast to his.
I've never been able to get you on the phone either, Chris answers his every time. You also sent some samples of pins to one of my friends and when he called you neither answered or returned his message. He only produces 75 cues a year, so I guess that isn't much too lose....well except he might tell other ACA members...that might add up..
I'm glad your lathe is more than you hoped for, but I feel Chris' frustration and feel it is warranted.
