New Message From Billy Incardona

poolchic,

I bet he's got more than enough game to play YOU even.

Let's see how you play when you get his age. Most guys his age can't even get in the box with champions, unless they have the game locked up.

I think you'd be quite surprised at who Billy could play even. Here's an idea.. Don't criticize a champion's game unless you are capable of putting THOUSANDS in action against a champion yourself. We should consider ourselves lucky that Billy didn't give up the game when his eyesight/stroke started falling off.

Russ

Hey i wasn't the one calling ANYONE out to play for high stakes. For your information i have put thousands in action. Playing pool and golf. I bet he wouldn't mix it up with me playing both games.

What a character. If you really got money to put in action, then I am SURE you've been paying attention enough to know that Billy booked two (fairly large) losers recently. Given that, he MUST be making "close" games.

I guess unless he takes 4 balls less than he needs to win against yer horse, he's a "lock-artist" in your eyes..

Wanna kick his dog, too? :D

Russ

Dude, everybody knows how Cardon plays, or gamble, if you want to call it that way. I was trying to make sure that he will play because we will be going on a long trip to get to where ever he is.

And yes, if you want to mix it too, you can also get played.

And I was not trying to be rude or funny, either!!

I'll see you guys at the end of August...plan to come down and take everybody's money.....daddy needs a new pair of shoes

:D

At my speed, I'll just be looking for some really cheap sets :D , but I can't wait to meet a few folks and check out your place, sounds like a great spot....

How can I watch the tables online. I'd love to kill some time here at work watching a few live matches.
Bump. Anyone Know? I can't find a website or anything.

Surely there's is someone out there that has a player and the confidence
to play me here at Diamonds Billiards in Dallas. I will say this again. I WILL
PLAY ANYONE FOR ANY AMOUNT! It does not matter if you are Asian, Black
or Caucasion. Just come to Dallas and we will match up. We have also
Bumperman, Tommy Rey and David G. who play here on a regular basis at
Diamonds Billiards.

wow russ,i think its time for you to chill out.I hope the heats not getting to ya.No one is calling anyone out here,so f,in relax.

I think anybody worried about him being a lock artist would use a little common sense and perhaps call the number listed in the post and negotiate a game instead of making meaningless posts on the internet.

Unless your just out to make yourself look or feel good by posting that is...

jimmy,

Come on man, don't be like that. Both of them insinuated Cardone not having any heart if he won't play even. Let's look at that.. Billy is a great player, but who will play him for thousands that wouldn't have him locked up if they played him even?

Like it or not, Billy is getting up there in age. So he needs weight to have anywhere near a fair game. And he can't really be THAT much of a lock artist if he lost two big matchups recently, can he?

If I were Billy, had just lost two big matches, and someone was calling me a lock artist, I'd be pretty pissed. JMHO. Thanks for the concern, jimmy. It's not the heat that's getting to me. It's the 35 rcokets that hit my compound the other day. Since Iran is now supporting the Iraqi insurgents (a la Iran-Contra..:D) ALL the rockets now explode, and there are no duds.

Funny thing is, with 35 rockets fired, coalition forces had 1 death, but 4 local nationals got killed too. All of us here know that it's mostly insurgents trying to get the cleaning jobs on American bases, so in effect, all those rockets, and they most likely killed more of the bad guys than they did the good guys.. Priceless!

Hey, bro! If you want maybe we can schedule a day and go up there together. Call me and we will work something out.

I got to go there with Bert Kinister the other day and it was a really place. I hear they have yearly memberships so that you don't have to pay every time you go. That has to be nice.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll see what I can come up with & give you a shout.

sorry russ ,take it easy out there.Tho i dont agree with what is happening there it does'nt mean i don't thank you for what you are doing.Even though we all have our petty little spats about pool on here,we tend to forget your sitting in utter chaos.KEEP SAFE,GET HOME SAFE.

8 nine footers? Sounds like a nightmare to me, with either really long waiting periods or the usual nonsense of open tables left empty as "reserved". If I was local, sure I might stop by every once in a while when a specific match up occurs, but with such limited table avila ility, it could never be my homeroom.

Despite my personal preferences, I sure hope the place is succesful and can't wait to hear about the action!

LOL :D You have been in New York too long sir.

The whole city of Indianapolis only has about 20 9 foot tables spread out over 3 pool rooms. (Indy is the 12th largest city by population in the U.S.)

I don't think pool in the U.S. is dying, the bar tables are going strong. The fat lady hasn't started singing on big table pool yet, but, she just got out of the limo.

I almost forgot. Billy called Dan Tull at Shooters and told him to tell everyone he is bringing a bankroll and his one hole game with him next weekend.

I have always heard the "Locksmith" title thrown around but most locksmiths I know don't get in as much action as Billy has been in this year.

It's great to see a legend getting down for the dough like Billy has lately. More power to him.

The room will be membership only for players. No bangers to take up the tables with nonsense. It's quite nice. Besides, when was the last time your home room had 16 players in action at the same time? If you take all the bangers out, most homerooms would be deserted...

I guess I am a little spoiled being from NY. Inh homeroom, at anytime u can walk in and see Thorsten, mika, robles lipsky, Barouti, chris lynch, flaco and jonathan smith playing. Seeing and playing (I play Thorsten 5 hours a day) great players is a daily occurence.

As far as action, I have to drive 15 minutes to Masters to watch Chavez, ginky, frankie or others mix it up with whomever comes through town.

But most importantly, I wasn't criticizing the rooms efforts. I was a bit surprised to hear that a room with so few tables could be a big deal. Nothing malicious intended.

Thorsten has been in NY for the better part of a year now. Of course with the exception of when he travels for tournaments.
