Here is a cue that is about finished that was made for a local league player here in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Needs a bit of work on the wrap, a tip, and some touch up on the polish.
Will be delivered this week.

Wow very nice cue I really like the design and wood in the butt ... What kind of material is that in the ferrell... It looks nice but I would be afraid it would be distracting maybe you would get use to it after awhile ??? Very pretty cue with simple inlays but done right to look really nice ... And that wood is out of this world ... How do these cues hit ??? And what does one like this set your wallet back?

Blows me away !!!!!!

Man, that is outstanding !!!

Beautiful, maybe your best one yet !

Keep up the great work.

Thank you King.

The ferrule is acrylic with a pad.
He is a leauge player and wanted the flashy look.
Wood is Cocobolo with a maple handle and linen wrap.
Flat faced joint with a Uni-Loc radial pin.

This cue was designed and made for $550.

DOES THE ACRYLIC HAVE A HARD HIT? I WOULD ALSO THINK IT WOULD BE VERY BRITTLE?

P.S. VERY NICE CUE, I'M JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THE FERRULE.

That is a very nice looking cue. I take back most of the mean things I've said about you. :grin-square:

Beautiful cue Will. I saw this one in person before it was finished; pictures don't do it justice!
Thanks again for your time. Sadly, I didn't make it to the poolroom that night; I made it to Lafayette, LA that morning! My partner-in-crime talked me into making the drive. Boy, was I tired at 5:30 am when we finally pulled into town for the night!

Nice looking cue, Willee. That ferrule is very cool, never seen that done before.

thats a triple cool ferrule, kinda old xchool Marblite looking-or what ever it was called on those old cues with that stuff,

I have to have those ferrule's on a cue someday, I have to figure out which cue, wow I like them, I like the plastic or acrylic that Bushka used too, not because of him or the value of the cues just the look of it, its a cool change from wood. Woods are 100% my favorite but plastics are cool too, did I mention Ivory? I need to relax.....:happydance:

Thats a very pretty cue, and a hell of a lot of inlay work, for 550 dollars . Nice Willie. Thanks Jim

Nice Cue Williem thanks for sharing!!:)

Nice

Very nice cue Willie. Not fond of floating inlays but I like the ones on this cue. I'm going to have you make me a cue one of these days :)

Thanks for the nice complements everyone.

Most of the cues I make are simpler in design but about twice a year I make one a bit more complex like this one.
Not really hard but time consuming getting everything lined up right and in its place. Having good tools to work with really helps move the idea from the mind and into the wood.
So far my Unique CueMonster CNC has done everything I have asked of it.

I think my next project will be more about inlayed metal lines and ivory oriented design work, as I have some new ideas I want to try.
Investing a lot of time into a cue design is something I have avoided but I think it is about time I attempted to make one challenging my craft and not so much for the value.

Thanks again everyone for being supportive of my work.
