does anyone know why there is a ring imprint on the wrap near the top and bottom of it? ernie at ginacue does this too and im wondering why. is it just a trademark or is there a specific reason for it
 
I think the ring pressed into the wrap is just for looks. Those Chudys are beautiful.

Stellar maple, he does some nice work for sure!

I almost bought a RC3 three years ago, it had the same single sided veneers with red white blue veneers (I always think about that cue around July 4th). Just never pulled the trigger. A buddy swears by his Chudy, though I have not hit with it yet, I might give it a whirl next week.

I watched Ernie do it on my Gina and asked him if it was a style move or if there was a purpose and he replied "style".

Beautiful cues! Chudy's designs and finish work are amazing. I recently got to meet him and see some of his 'personal' cues. He was really nice and took time to let everyone check out his cues.
 
I like the idea of having matching break and play cues. I was thinking of talking to Jim White about making me a break cue to match the play cue he made me. Good score on the Chudy's.

Thanks for all the kind words! I have one Chudy cue now that I play with some and it's a fantastic player. I've always wanted a matching playing and break cue and I think these are gonna be perfect.
