New pool room in Virginia

Whew, there's a lot of light coming through all those windows.

Looks neat though. Anytime a nice new room opens up it's a good thing.

Looks good!

That's a pretty good looking place. I haven't spent any time in Richmond in many years, but now I have another reason to go.

There's a new room in Roanoke as well. It's called The Q and has 8 diamond tables, a nice bar and a good menu. Two new rooms to check out

They put 650k into a poolroom they lease? Good luck with that. Johnnyt

Richmond is a weird place. Used to have a lot of pool rooms, for its size...

Besides, looks like he is going for the hi-end crowd, with the fancy drinks and olde- timey theme.

I will meet you there...never.

There are a lot of Things that are cool about that place!

The old neon billiard sign, basket of old balls(ivory?),the raised platforms with old theater seats, rails to keep folks from wandering right past tables they aren't playing on, the table lights, tables look decent.

$56 for a 4 hour session?....good luck getting 'pool players' in there, esp in Richmond. Not exactly the 'bet-it-up' capitol of the country. This ain't New York guys!
BB, you got 9-7 at that spot...if you ever find me there...lol.

Wow,, this looks awesome. Really sharp.

Next time I am down that way I am definitely going.

I have not yet been in but I'm told the place is meant to be a fine restaurant (they have a very good chef) in conjunction with a pool room. It's location suggests that they would be able to draw a business crowd as they're very close to the downtown / business districts.

I'm looking forward to checking it out. I'm hoping he starts a 14.1 league although initial reports were that he wasn't going to have any league play.

As soon as I make it in, I'll take the time to post a review.

The place is the nicest pool room I have ever been in! I've shot everywhere in Richmond for the last 20 years. Triple, Playing field, Side Pocket, BreakTime, Baileys, Mulligans, Sharkeys, Popkin Tavern, ect...

This place has the nicest bar & most beautifully maintained 9ft tables I have ever played on. They are so fast...Bumpers are solid. The man at the desk Jesse is solid. I have been there 5 times since I found the place and have not a bad thing to say. I am trying to spread the word and get some action in the place. I don't want to see such a nice pool room fail.

Haven't been through Richmond since Billy Stephens place closed. Looks ok, needs some curtains in those windows though.
