New Repair Lathe Headstock

when i saw yours a few days ago i asked my machinist if anyone at his company had shared photos or verbal descriptions of my new headstocks. He assured me that had not happened. The pulley design looks almost identical to my proto type.

i agree chris somthings rotten in denmark whats the chances of 2 exactly the same you do the math

large bore headstock

I just wanted to let all you Bassel bashers know. I have been talking with Bassel for over a year now. And from the moment we started talking he was telling me about the new headstock. The man is a very smart engineer. He works hard and listens to the people who do cue repair for a living. Just like me I own Dave's Cue Repair in Rosenberg Tx.I have all 3 of Bassel Cue Building an Repair products. I can wait for his CNC product to hit the market so i can buy it too......Bassel best of luck man keep the GREAT PRODUCTS comming ... (Dave's Cue Repair) Dave Hedrick

This sounds strangely familiar.

how come my post along with several others over the past few days keep getting deleted? Is it a glitch or has some higher power stepped in to protect some people?

Are you going to feel the same the next time you complain that someone is stepping on your sale?

I'll remember.

Point taken, but I think this layer of protection should apply equally to all posters. JMHO.

well it don't. My post was deleted......kinda took the fun out of this site for me. don't go on here as much now that i've been censored. Yet others can post anything they please, hijack threads, and do pretty much anything on this site without any retaliation. And now i'm sure this post will get deleted also. go AZ!!!

I read this thread and think to myself just how different a headstock can one design for a Taig ? In my opinion what people here are creating are variations on an age-old theme, the lathe headstock. Nothing really new here, from what I can see .... but maybe I am blind

Briana, removed your attack as well as the reply to it. Lets be nice. Snide comments are not needed here.

As for the "selective censorship" comments, feel free to say anything you want about this whole thread....

on your own site!!

Until then, we reserve the right to remove any posts that we deem as attacks.

And if having your attacks removed makes you not want to come here, so be it.

I just wanted to point out that my post was defending the original poster from an attack and was deleted. But since the original attack was deleted my post was kind of useless so I no longer care. There is more I'm unhappy with on the subject but I'm dropping it.

To the original poster: Sorry this thread took a turn for the worse. Your headstock looks great, as well as your lathe. I may be selling my grizzly lathe and downsizing to a cue-specific one soon and i'll defiantly keep your lathe in mind!!!

If we remove a post that is out of line, but leave replies that quote that post, then did we really accomplish anything?

Mike
