perrys cues have been real hot latley for his new stuff, that narrow butt and stiff hit has got alot of players attention!:)

I can't take it anymore  I've come to the conclusion that I will own a snakewood cue one of these days. Great looking cues man, good luck with your sales.

Cheers,
Jim

I saw that Arthur cue in person at their shop and I must say that it is absolutly beautiful. You should see the others that he has finished and even the ones that are waiting to be finished. Breathtaking.

When he consistently makes cues like that I wonder why I very rarely hear him mentioned on this board. Is it a bias against non-US made cues?

Bill stroud said that he will be the hottest cuemaker on the planet in the next 10 years. I love his stuff and he is a very nice man to deal with.

I'm always looking for an excuse to go his shop, see those cues, and BS a little with him :)

have you seen the king arthur cue he is doing for the cue collector show? his back log on orders is getting big right now. they play incredible very stiff little or no deflection, and balanced a little forward that is what i like! I have a list of people in the states waiting for his cues under 8000.00 us! :)

I saw drawings on a sketch board that make sense now that you mention a king arthur cue :) (didnt see the cue unfortunatly...)

Concerning the playability, I don't have an Arthur cue (poor student ;( one of the first things on my list to buy after I graduate ), but a large percentage of the league players here play with them. I've only heard good things about them. I'm sure he'll be held in the same regard as the other top tier cuemakers someday. Selfishly though, I hope it comes after I get a chance to snag one. :)

As for me and my rambling... it's late and I'll quit polluting your thread now

Dave

we try to share them with the az board!we keep some of what we sell on our web site so people can have achance to see cues that might be burried in collections! we will be getting another 12 ultra highend cues in the next couple weeks that will be mind blowing!!Buisness is at a all time high for us and every year getting better thanks to people that love the art and use of beautiful woods. All our thanks go to God for making our buisness soo sucessfull,it is nothing we have done just a true Blessing!:)

I saw that Arthur cue when I was in Germany about a month ago, wow it was nice, they do great work, i hope more of them come here, the taper of the shaft was short, that would take me a while to adjust to, but a taper can easily be changed, its a great cue for sure.

I was also lucky enough to see that Ginacue before it shipped a week ago, the leather wrap is amazing, that is a great cue, too. I was picking up a shaft and Ernie went in the back and came out and handed it to me.

kinda weird that I saw 2 of thecues in this thread, pretty long odds of that happing again, I was just in the right spots at the right times.

If it is any consolation to you, the first time I met Bill was at the Glass City Open...I think in 2001..whichever year that they first started having it again. Bill had several McDermotts and other production cues, along with Dick Lanz, and he might have had 6-10 what I would call mid-level custom cues. Since that time, he decided to go at it full guns a-blazin' and has turned out to be one really successful high-end cue dealer. It could not have happened to a nicer guy, but I assure you that there was a lot of sweat, worry, and effort behind the success that you see now. Bill, just keep wow-ing us with these masterpieces, and continued success to you.
Joe

I own a Samsara and would love to get this one, I think they are one of the most underated cue makers, they play as good as any cue I have ever hit. good luck
