All,

Disregard my previous search. Just had some expected funds drop, and my budget has been increased.

To that end, I am ready to pull the trigger on a player...NOW...with the following specs:

19-19.5oz
2 shafts at 12.7mm or bigger
Ivory/Micarta ferrules preferred
Stiff hitting cue
MUST BE STRAIGHT AND SOUND
Wrapped or wrapless is fine

Ballpark range - $0 - $1.2k

Cues I've liked in the past:

Scruggs
SugarTree
BlueGrass
Jensen
Tad
Rauenzahn
Phillippi
Schon (older)
Runde
R. Howard
Joss (older)
Black Boar (simple)
Jim White

All cues considered, provided they meet my specs list.

C'mon...let's do something here!!! :) :) ;)

Colin,

My e-mail account awaits, boss. We should've done something the last go-around.

Maybe we can make things right with a cue deal this time?? :) ;)

Drop me a line with what ya got, what their specs are, and how much it'll take to pry them outta your hands.

Thanks much, sir.

Mark

Mark,

I still have this Schon if you're interested http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=189377&highlight=schon. The one shaft is very close to your specs w/ivory ferrule and the weight of the butt is right on. Cue plays great - nice & stiff. I have 2 shafts but the 2nd one is too thin for you, but you can always get Schon shafts to your liking.

If you are interested, please PM me and we'll talk price, I can move a little but not much. I think it fits your description perfectly. Good luck w/your search.

I also may have an R6 you may be interested in but again, one of the shafts is too thin.

Dave

Mark,

It sounds like the type of "hit" you like in a cue is stiff-ish at least with a little "life" in the playability and either the sharp "ping" of ivory or the "twonk" of micarta.
I have available a plain-ish Kikel 4 pointer (purpleheart into BEM)

2 shafts both @ 13mm (ferrule material is either LBM or early ivorine family I, II or aegis)

weight is @ 19.5oz with either shaft

Dave Kikel's cues are great playing cues; very natural to adjust to. This cue is no exception to that statement.
The cue is 20yrs+ as it's one of his early cues and still straight with either shaft.

Asking price is near the middle of you ballpark range.

Here's a little more description and pix:

Thanks for your consideration.
