New Slate Dolly

I admit to failing on a target launch date but of course it wasn't my fault. Now another 3 week wait. But just to show good faith I'm asking A1 if he would like me to come up on my box truck and show him the greatest tool ever made

Did you scream yet Glen?

I got a good sticky for you too as the pool cue is most essential in setting up a table

Buddy...I heard Belview hospital has been looking for you....something about you having excaped or something...what's up with that?

I found it!

I found the OTLVISE!

That's fine. One more set for someone who will enjoy not lifting slate anymore. Of which there are plenty of guys across the country who don't visit this forum that will

will do it in the main forum. Don't know why you ask about it as you already have a slate mover. Lol.

Orders will be made through me and only to guys who haven't busted my balls.

Damn, does that bump me off the list? ;) Yeah, Don can move some slate, that's for sure.

First batch is now spoken for. As far as the question of moving slate and not lifting it. The key to moving slate is to never if at all possible let the weight leave the ground. A practice which in many cases should be being done already if you know what your doing and have the right tools.

It has to leave the ground to get on the table. Even tilting it onto the frame you're lifting weight.

slate truck

Most of the tables I have relocated lately have been these cheap used tables that are starting to pop up for sale everywhere, most of em have the lighter unbacked 3/4 slates, so carrying them up and down steps has not been to bad lately, but' if I was to have to wheel em up and down I would of had to turn around at the top of most basement steps where I have to take one of the two doors off to go down steps to get to the garage.. Turning around would of been nearly impossible, unless I built some sort of ramp and risk breaking my neck walking in reverse down steps wrestling a hand truck, I don't think another set of axles to set it down would of even helped, unless it was flipable and load balancing...
--- we all know pimpin slates is not easy...

This unit turns on a dime and will show video demonstrating exactly what you highlight. Very easy and I encountered that on my very first trial. No worries

It's called leverage and the center of gravity. Like a see saw. Guess you missed it at the seminar lol

Picked up some very good tips at the seminar, none of which involved moving slate which is rather simple.

IMO you missed the common sense line at a young age and got on the whacko line instead.
I can think of no other reason for the off the wall stuff you post.

Three words describes the reason..."thread view count";) because he thinks that if he can finally pass me in total thread views....it makes him more popular as a mechanic on AZ...than me, but if he were to ever do that...I don't know what he'd win.

Personally, I don't think his treatment program when all that well....and he needs to enter into another treatment program that runs a little longer, and will do him some good next time:grin:

I knew the real reason - thread count, rep and all that since I've followed it all from the getgo.
Pretty stupid when you think about it since most people see right thru the bs.
I've yet to see a post that actually contributed something meaningful to the forum.
