The mech directory thread doesn't relate to me? Why should it?
It was simply a contribution/service to the forum to take the time to put it together and maintain it.
And just fyi, that thread started in Feb 2007 - a year before you joined the forum.

Most threads with no responses? I doubt that but frankly could care less.
Then again I, unlike you, am not here to win any popularity contests.
Rather, I'm here to share opinions and answer questions within the scope of my expertise.

Slate is easy to move? Probably the only correct thing you've said since you joined the forum.

Think you're a bit confused on that. If anyone is jealous it's you otherwise you wouldn't constantly
engage in battle with Glen. It really is that obvious.

John...you are the FIRST...and ONLY person on AZ that I'm aware of that has even brought up the subject of thread views...like it's something very important to have...in your corner.....What is it with you and the thread views? Do you think that the higher the views....the more you're liked or something?...or the more popular you are? John...your work as a mechanic is just average at best...so thread views don't make you a better mechanic, more popular...or anything else you might think it does. You wouldn't even have a high viewing on your threads if I didn't respond to them.

What is your PROBLEM? Why don't you just focus on being a good table mechanic...instead of going out of your way...to being such a combative asshole most of the time, then crying about how people don't like you. John...no one likes someone that acts the way you do, in any profession;)

John...I try to help you out with better ideas on how to do this kind of work, just as I stopped by your house/shop and took the time to show you how to glue the cloth on the slates...as well as how to correctly stretch Simonis cloth....then what do you do?...YOU can't leave well enough alone....because you have to take what I showed you...and butcher it all to hell....so you can call it YOUR way...is better than my way...then come on AZ and brag that you can install the bed cloths faster than I can...and use half the amount of glue....and want to bet me that you can do it faster than I can...WHY? What the hell is your problem buddy????...If you want to know what fast is, Diamond has a video made by Pat Fleming with Accustats filming it on the TV table at the 2001 DCC...of me installing the bed cloth on the TV table...at 8min 15sec's, from the time I have the cloth laid out, until I'm done with the last pocket...and it's RECORDED....so it's not bragging...it's a frigging fact!!! Yet, YOU...without anything to back up your boasts and claims...are full of bs....talking about gluing the bed cloths down...yet use tack strips...talk all about how you work on pool tables worth $$$$$$$$$$...yet...show nothing to back up your claims to even know what in the hell your talking about. You don't even even extend the rails correctly to tighten pockets up....because you have no way of correcting the incorrect pocket angles made by the manufacturs...with your BS...OTLB...sliced off cushion & sub-rail extensions.

The biggest difference between me and you John...is that I BACK UP what I say...with facts, and show'n tell. I teach others how to improve their skills...with practical ways of accomplishing them skills. I don't teach HACK work!

I worked my assss off to build this mechanics forum, as a way to network with all table mechanics on AZ, share practical ideas, and to work together to create a help each other website...with the hopes of bettering this industry...one table mechanic at a time...because that's all it takes to start changing this industry into something better....and then you come along...and think this is some kind of playground made just for you...to play your BS games that you've probably played all your life, which might just lead to the answers as to why the other kids beat your ass on the school playgrounds...because you've never learned how to get along with others very well...which would actually explain a lot of other things about you as well.

we tried it and it only lasted a week to a month, plus sometimes it's fun to see and hear someone speak fluent in jeberish even if it's in pig latin.

I truly believe he comes up with some of the off the wall stuff for real except it then becomes a game.
All talk, no backup. In a roundabout way it is amusing so I'd guess that's why some of us play along.
