We just received two new Sugartree cues from Eric. Pics are posted below. Both cues have 2 outstanding ST shafts with Super pro tips.

The first is an 8 point Cocobolo into Olivewood cue. It has a couple rare qualities for a Sugartree cue. One is Eric's use of Elephant Ivory in the joint and ringwork. You won't find many Sugartrees with Elephant Ivory. The second is a stacked leather wrap that matches the cue perfectly and was installed to perfection (what else owuld you expect) by Eric. this cue is SOLD

Cue two is a players cue made form "eyeless" Birdseye Maple. It is Birdseye Maple with no Birdseyes, however, the cue does have some nice curl and quilt figure to it. Birdseye Maple is actually weaker where the birdseyes are, so from a structural standpoint, the cue is rock solid. This cue is SOLD
We will be posting these to the website soon if they last that long.

Thanks Hayden...the Maple cue is sold...your prediction could very well come true.

Damn, I wish you had gotten the top cue one month from now! That cue would have been heading my way. How bout a lay-a-way program till then :D

I might be mistaken, but:
1) BEM is not BEM if it is straight, ie no eyes.
2) The eyes are figures in the wood, not a type of Maple.

Or, is BEM such an exotic hard to find species that only Eric Crisp has a super secret ancient invisible ink map to the world's only eyeless BEM trees that have been around since the dawn of time?!?!?!?

WTF kinda post is that. Are you trying to be a jerk ? Or are you just another Hater?

No, but my contention is still that BEM with no eyes is just maple and just a ...........broom stick..............*gasp*

Actualy BEM is diseased maple......... The "eyes" are the bacterial growth in the maple

When you take that diseased maple and make pool cues out of it the more diseased they are the cooler they look:) :)

I could care less what type of maple that Sugartree cue is it is one damn nice looking cue and I am sure hits a ton. Congratulations to the new owner. And another great set of cues available from the fine gentlemen at New2youQs. Thanks guys.

Holy cow...there must be something in the air this week.

The Maple cue...I relayed what Eric explained to me about the wood. Eric has more wood knowledge in his little finger than most will have in their lifetime. I do not question his knowledge when it comes to wood. Maybe he will chime in on the cue. Regardless, the new owner will be very happy with it.

As far as the Coco/Olivewood cue...the weight is 19.3oz.

Now...I'm going out to relax on the golf course! ;)

I'm crying tears as big as October cabbages that I don't have the scratch for that olivewood cue. Seriously. I want that mf'er so bad. I'm trying to think of what I can send Jamie as collateral. LOL
