New Tascarella Hoppe

So, how about a group picture of my old player with the new one?

So how long did your wait end up being for your Tascarella? I'm right at the 12 month mark for mine and was quoted 12-13months. The wait is killing me. Lol. Great looking cue btw. Hope you like it.

Congratulations on the Tascarella. I am certain you will love it. Pete's cue play great and the workmanship is superb.

I ordered this cue in February 2013 and I received it January 14. Real close to a year and well before I expected it.

This cue has been my main player for the last year and I still enjoy it to this day. Any cue that puts a smile on your face each time you pick it up is a keeper in my book.

That Schon R10 is long gone now. I miss it, but, not as much as you would think. It had two great shafts and had a solid hit. Most every R series Schons I have owned in the past were the same way, great players.

Tascarella

Yeah - that Tascarella hit never gets old. It's proof that monsters really do exist. LOL. You will never regret it - unless you mess up and sell it. Enjoy.

That's the difference with the Pete's.. if they make up time on cues.. they go down the list, or make up ground by knocking out the less complicated cues for the "common" man. There are some guys that could learn from this way of doing business.

I really like his cues but I have a question.

Does anyone know how long it takes him to make a shaft. I am not saying buying one, the "process" of making a shaft.

Does he let his shaft wood "hang" for several years or what is the deal.

I have had a few and it is either really good shaft wood or taper or something, but they sure played good (IMO).

Just trying to understand.

I was under the impression that Southwest shafts are a real long process as well. I don't like their taper quite as well but the shafts always seem great too.

I don't know Pete at all and only bought his cues on secondary. If this is inappropriate for this thread I apoligize.

Call them and ask them.... Tascarellacustomcues.com

I emailed Pete Sr and Jr. this past week about refinishing a cue and making a new shaft. Without seeing the cue, approximate turnaround time would be about 2 weeks. They strongly suggested I submit the existing shafts to be refinished with the butt so that everything fits and indexes correctly. This a full-splice wrapless with a piloted ivory joint.
