I am willing to bet my horses do better than yours..

Just add up the place numbers where your horses end up (all 6) and I'll add up mine...the lessor total of all 6 added up is the winner of the bet...

I am willing to share 2 same name players of our 6 picked...

I am willing to bet $100.00 each with any 3 of you out there...loser sends a money order in the mail...

Instead of picking the top 6 players, pick only one so that whoever wants to bet actually has a chance.:p
 
picking your 6

This bet is like a team effort bet...someone else started a similar post and got me thinking so I just wanted to have a little fun with a twist on it. Just some harmless light fun and games with a small wager...the bet is a group effort and if one or two are not playing well, the others will hold up the team hopefully...lots of champions besides the ones I have chosen...

It is called "betting" not "stealing". :p
Instead of you choosing 6 players and telling people they can only have two of the same people in their 6.... you should each pick one at a time. :p

I don't have the stones to put my money where my mouth is just yet. I'm saving my money for the blackjack tables, restaurants, and general debauchery of Vegas next week:)

And I don't want to get into a situation where I'm rooting against an underdog in the group of 18, but I wouldn't mind making some friendly wagers on individual matches at the Venetian.

You've picked probably 6 of the top 10 favourites in the tourney, which takes no skill at all. Your not too likely to find a sucker.I say we start a pool where everyone commits to say $20 and picks 25 players each,picking whatever 25 players they want. A list of 25 will undoubtingly require the poolster to pick some dark horses.Most likely everyone will select the six you just selected and more favourites as well.It's the last 5 or 6 long shot picks that will win this thing for some astute (or lucky) picker.

I'll post up a IPT Player Pool thread.

That sounds like a heck of an idea RJ, picking 25 players requires good knowledge of players not just grabbing the top 6 or 7 guys. It's something that could generate alot of interest, anybody else?

It's kind of like some of the hockey pools we have up here in Canada.:D

Even if we only get 5 or 6 entries, it will be fun.I don't claim to know all that much about the players,however, I thought a IPT money pool like this could provide some fun, some razzing and some conversation.

Who knows, it might start off slowly,might not start at all, or might grow. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I look forward to seeing your 25 picks.:p
