Already have both 13mm and 14mm, Joe also gives alot of different pressing ideas.

Has four "vents near the base to relieve over pressure

Works awesome :)

Thanks

I've just ordered a couple of these about a week ago, Joe is a good guy and i would recommend him.......

Joe is the same fella that makes white diamond jump/break tips too.
Nothing but great stuff coming out of that shop.

These are made by Joseph Picone, most well known for making the White Diamond cue tip.

i have one of these and it is an awesome tip press. I like how it comes with both flat and domed cylinders. The airholes are a great idea and it works well with tips that have been soaked. Joe can also make custom sizes if you ask.

yeah joseph said he uses aluminum for several reasons...one to keep the cost down, steel is expensive. Also it doesn't rust when using various liquids. The little knob on the cynlinders though is steel for strength

Stainless would also be a good material but it's very expensive.

I ordered one from Joe last night, can't wait to get it.

I have a box of elkmasters that I've been struggling to press correctly. I tried several different techniques but just couldn't get a consistent result. Hopefully this little tool will provide the solution.

The one thing I have played around with is using a drill vise http://www.grizzly.com/products/4-Heavy-Duty-Drill-Press-Vise/H7577and torque wrench. NOTE: the hex nut that allows me to use a socket with the torque wrench.

This allows me to use the SAME torque setting to repeat the process/pressure.

Now the issue is to find the secret recipe for what to soak the tip in prior to pressing........:wink::wink:
