Nine Ball UK Open.

I guess Sky was down 5-1, and came back to win 11-1

He'll face winner of the Shane and Bjoistersbosch

In the US,.DAZN was supposed to be streaming this event this weekend. They are Matchroom's US streaming partner for all nineball events. I think every tournament this year has had DAZN problems so Matchroom winds up posting the tournament feed on Facebook. Which is good enough except I shouldnt have to dig around on Facebook to see how to watch a major event I already paid $99 / year to watch.

Hopefully you enjoyed the subscription for other things as well.

I went to DAZN too and was surprised it was not there, and then I found it on MR's FB page. I'm just happy to be able to view it:)

Off topic though, all the mics have a huge Sky sports logo on them, as do all the background posters on the match tables. How would this have been even shown on DAZN, with the Sky logos? Would they have had separate with different mics interviews and backgrounds on the matches for the DAZN viewers?

It's almost like no one thought about how US customers would watch this event until today.

The racking problems are back. I think Emily is 20 years too late and wasn't around for all the wired 9 balls, and racking arguments, due to the triangle. Even with a professional reff, brand new polished balls, and brand new cloth and spot, the wired 9 is on.

Each rack has pros and cons, but IMO, the template rack is far the superior product, when all aspects are considered.

Yeah, Shane made the 9 on the break but it was kicked in by a ball that went around the table. He’s had several short racks, with the 9 creeping closer to the corner pocket on most racks.

The ref tapped the table for several minutes, and the 9 tracked right towards the pocket, stopping 4" short. Emily, do you see now? ha ha.

Its a great value to me. Although I've only ever watched MR pool events on it. I don't like any other sports.
It's a good deal just for that. I may join you on your Dazn subscription plan. However this morning
I got lucky. I was planning on buying the stream to watch and low and behold I get it free on facebook.
How nice.

Shame (for U.S. fans) that SVB and SKY will meet so early should they both win. All in all, I think the Americans competed quite well this tourney. Shane Wolford continues to improve, and Oscar is stout. With all his outside interests and responsibilities, it is impressive to see how strong he plays.

I keep waiting for the tournament where Styer, Billy, or Reinhold show up and look like the elite players...IMO, they don't seem to have improved as much as I thought they would over the past couple of years.

The US MC cup team selection will be interesting this years as far as our top 5 players (and yes I know the Euros could field 27 teams that would own the Americans.)
Christ, where can you watch the final two days? And when are these matches starting?

Told ya yesterday something was fishy...maybe a one time glitch, but seems funny that dazn would scrub ALL references to pool...

Looks like Sky and Shave will play in the quarterfinals later this afternoon.

In races to 11 format, two errors is usually the max you can do and still win. 3 is too many against a top player.
