With mastery of the S curve, the Z kick is sometimes unnecessary.
An S is only a Z without rails.

Another thing is in tournaments that don't allow jump cues it's useful to be able to drop the cue stick during the stroke which, unlike draw, lifts the cue ball off the table to clear interfering balls. You can tell the difference between a jump shot and a lift shot because a jump involves an elevated cue and several bounces, whereas a lift shot is hit with a level cue and the cue ball floats off the table bed more slowly.
What's this S curve? I can do a C...?
Ever notice how tongue-in-cheek posts are often misunderstood on AzB?
Who are you talking to?
What is the affinity for the term "tongue in cheek" on AzB?
This is the summer of trolls.

Why is the cueball shifting to the right? The deflected path would be to the left???
I think it is possible to follow through with a circular motion. The circular shape of the stroke puts English on the CB similarly to the way you would a bowling ball or say a tennis ball.
I never said anyone was dumb. When you start talking about telekinesis your all done.Im not trolling anyone. I don't agree with the most of you as you don't agree with me. I won't jump into another thread and start telling people they are dumb. I had this work and I wanted to share. Go ahead and mention end mass like it disproves everything I wrote or try and joke at my expense. It will increase the chance of someone testing what I think, who might not see the thread otherwise.
If that idiot got hit by a bus he would argue that his injuries had nothing to do with kinetic energy. Another denizen of my Ignore list. Its growing.I never said anyone was dumb. When you start talking about telekinesis your all done.
What you think you are doing and whatever you are actually doing are not the same thing. We've had these discussions before.
I'm glad what you're doing is working for you. By all means keep doing it.

Looking at the pics (specifically the blue line I put at the edge of the cb) the cb looks like it moves very much straight ahead with no squirt off line. The green line shows the stroke direction, which looks like bhe is being used to offset cb squirt.
I have been labeled as dumb. Black-balled said to me "your so dumb it hurts." People posting poems and talking about 2nd grade level morons and such.
I am doing exactly what I am saying, sorry it clearly isn't for you to understand. I am not new to the game. I knew of the evidence posted refuting my ideas BEFORE I posted. Years before.
I mentioned telekinesis for a reason. If you haven't had a ball roll off inappropriately after a great shot then I don't expect u to get the joke. Especially under pressure as it seems to happen at a rate that is too high.
I will keep doing what I like thanks for the permission.
Like a swooping stroke?? I thought this was possible also until I tested it, very much like your center cb test. I used a blue circle cb (Brunswick centennial) and lined it up so that striking dead center on the blue circle would send the cb straight into the cushion. I shot several shots using a swoop/swiping motion across the face of the cb, each time trying to hit the center of the blue circle and cause the cb to take on side spin. By observing the chalk marks (tip contact marks) on the cb, and also the action of the cb rebounding off the cushion, I learned I was wrong. Every time the cb came off the rail with side spin on it, the chalk/tip mark was not in the circle. Every time the cb came straight back off the cushion (no spin imparted) the chalk mark was dead center in the blue circle. But each stroke was done exactly the same, trying to swipe or swoop the tip across the cb to impart right spin instead of simply stroking straight through right of center. The only time spin was imparted was when the tip struck the ball right of center.
I'm not them. The easiest thing to do to rile someone up is to insult their intelligence.I have been labeled as dumb. Black-balled said to me "your so dumb it hurts." People posting poems and talking about 2nd grade level morons and such.
