wow i think this whole thread is totally out of line...
I know the 1st time I saw Nick Varner it was prolly 92 or so and i was like 14. He came walking into the pool hall looking like a movie star,dressed really nice with aviator shades on and a pretty lady at his side. I honestly was a little star struck,he was the nicest guy you ever wanted to meet. He actually took a few minutes to do some trick shots and show me how to jump a ball. That was really the only time Ive met him but I still have a very positive image of him,he is truly a great guy.
Honestly Bernie I dont know you at all, I saw you at the IPT tourneys and never got a chance to introduce myself or anything but this whole post is really out of line, and speaking as someone who didnt earn there IPT card either as I was picked as well, maybe you should spend a little more time at the practice table and a little less time putting down the games legends

If you want to ruin your playing cue that is up to you. Your thread on "Kicking/For what it's worth"? Bernie, you're an idiot. I would prefer to hang out with Mr. Varner or Mr. Orcollo over you in a heartbeat. You are a leeach sucking at the little remaining lifeblood of the IPT. Same here. Great guy. Talked to him over the phone a while ago and helped me work out a transaction with Aaron. Was very helpful. Even got a picture with him at Valley Forge last March. Greay guy and pool player. Aaron, you are lucky to have a friend like him at your disposal.TX Poolnut said:

If that is the case...how on earth can he put down one of the greatest players ever? I can think of a few reasons.
Now to my reply to it. i've know Nick since i was about 8 years old. I'm from Owensboro and granted he moved away for a while but he is back now. I could never think of a bad thing to say about him. He is a very friendly guy. Of course he does like giving me a hard time about a problem that i had. All fun and games to me just like he puts it out. My girlfriend and i babysit for little Nick when we get the chance and he's always been grateful. It really ticked me off to see someone badmouth him when going over these posts...looks like everyone else knows who nick is and how he is.
I just wanted to get that off my chest because i know that is wrong about him.
Sorry for wasting anyone elses time if you are tired of this thread.
