Sinfulness and town values. Oh Lawd have mercy. Is cussing and spitting illegal?
Or cow tipping.
Clyde appears to be a small town in western NC, roughly 30 minutes west of Asheville, NC. The Smoky Mountain Shootout 9-ball tournament, held annually in nearby Waynesville is ironically Haywood County's largest fundraiser. Even though Asheville is a very progressive growing city and has become quite a tourist destination due to the beauty of the surrounding mountains, the breweries, and the Biltmore house, there are some extremely conservative communities in the surrounding area, so this doesn't surprise me. I guess it's OK to drive an hour down the road to the Cherokee casinos to legally gamble all you want or to nearby Asheville to drink locally produced beer in one of the community's 60+ craft breweries, but playing a game of pool is forbidden - funny!Stumbled upon this on the Google feed. Sounds like the idiots where I live. We had a guy open a juice bar(healthy), put in 2 tables, no fee, free to play all day, nice nice place, closed at 6, no alchohol.
City said, if you have pool tables in your establishment then, you must also have a liquor license. Forced him to remove them.
City councils are just like our government, extremely worthy of having a nuke dropped dead center of their shady, crooked ass selves. May they burn in hell.
Well with any luck the entire town will drown this week.
**Clyde town hall meeting settles***
"Alright, everyone. Now that we have the matter of those two pesky pool tables settled, next we move on to the issue of dancing......"
:thud:
