Alex won his IPT card at one of the IPT tour Card tourneys held for the open 8 spots.crosseyedjoe said:I think the initial list was decided thru applications that was sent back to IPT. I not really sure if Alex P. got an invitation because I remembered reading from the IPT website, KT said that he wanted Alex P. in the tournament but hadn't sent his application. SO I'm not really surprise if some prominent players where just automatically included.

I think every IPT players should send Sigel a percentage of this year's winnings just to say thanks.
If Mike Sigel had not QUIT playing in protest then I am confident that he would still be one of the best and most recognizable players on Earth. All of you who revere Strickland's skill might not remember that Sigel owned him in the 80's and early 90's.
I think Sigel deserves a LIFETIME IPT card and everyone else can compete for the other 149 spots.
