Notice to Diamond of no longer delivering pool tables.

After talking to the folks at Diamond for nearly four months and talking and typing to Glen recently I see this as disappointing to both parties. I feel bad for Glen knowing that he has spent many many nights in this vehicle. Not only driving but sleeping as well. I feel bad for Diamond also because they make a fine product that is in demand to a point that they are balls to the wall. In this day and age everyone is going for it and companies may not see things the way employees do. It happens everyday all over the world.Glen and Diamond will both move on, such is life. I wish the best for both parties and look forward to playing on a Diamond of my own in just a few weeks. I also look forward to seeing what the future holds for the Realkingcobra and the game that all of us care about.

i am suppose to be getting a pro am delivered any day now, I have been calling since friday with an eta and can't even get a return phone call. been waiting about 6 weeks now.
It's not on my truck, so I'm not the one delivering it...but I'm sure you'll get it:D

Diamond makes great tables and Glen is a stand out table mechanic. Too bad that it has come to this. They made a great team.

Perhaps what Diamond needs is a network of billiard retailers that will stock their tables. Exactly what Brunswick and Olhausen already have in place. Much easier said then done.

Do you honestly think I need to call Sears for a job?:D I don't think so, I haven't ever worked for Sears, not in the 25 years I've been doing this, that goes for working for anyone else either:D

Just making a suggestion if you want your nice pretty truck to drive - unless I misunderstood, you didn't have a problem with Diamond tables just the truck they gave you to deliver in. So hence, since you quit, the truck is the big issue. My suggestion to go to Sears seems to fit as you will be happy driving that nice new truck with the air hockey/pool combo tables inside.

Hmmm...my truck is pretty...........pretty damn wore out!!!! Sears wouldn't own a truck like this, sorry!;)

Besides...do you think I need to LOOK for work? If you do, you really don't know anything about me, which would explain why you think I'm pouting over a nice new "pretty" truck! I'd be happy with a truck that ALL of the 8 injectors work, not 6 out of 8 being bad, and of couse...with glow plugs that work as well, since they are very IMPORTANT when starting a diesel engine! So, if you think PRETTY over rides the need for a truck that runs right...then you once again...don't know anything about me;)

Ok last time - I think maybe your brain isn't working from all the spray glue you use.

You left Diamond because you weren't happy with the truck.
Go to work for Sears because you will be happy with the truck THEY provide.
You don't seem to care what table you are working on, so who cares if it is a Sears special. A billiard technician should be able to work with any type of table anyways. What better challenge of your skills then the honeycomb @ Sears.

If you didn't need work - why did you suffer for DAY ONE with Diamond & their inferior truck? That makes no sense at all.

I hear what you're saying...but I think your missing the point here...I PAY LEASE payments to Diamond for this "pretty" truck...in other words...I pay rent on this truck, for the use of it. I pay for the diesel, the tires, the oil changes,...ect: And if I'm required to PAY, then I'd like something worth PAYING for, as I like delivering Diamonds tables, I like the customers, I like the traveling, the living on the road. I like all of it, just not the conditions in which I'm expected to PAY for to do my job;) This ISN'T a FREE truck:D

That's like asking my why I spent 7 months working at the Diamond factory as a consultant to help them design their Smart Tables?...Because it needed to be done, and I had the knowlege to do it is why. Same reason I drive this truck, because the tables need to be delivered, but the truck is breaking down more often now, and it's worn out. It's the cost of doing business...plain and simple. ;)

Now you make more sense.

I know you like to post pictures of your work. How bout some pictures of your truck?

My Diamond truck, and my home on the road. Yes, I live in this truck as well, as that's the only way I can get my job done. It's not like when I'm off work delivering pool tables, I can go home and eat a home cooked meal, when I've only been home about 5 weeks now in the last 16 months;)

Made sense to most of us all along. Did you think that HE was complaining to DIAMOND about HIS own truck???

LOL

What's Next?

Glen we talked well over a month ago about you delivering me a ProAm in trade for a Smart table. You agreed you would do it.I contacted Bryan at Diamonds to set it up like you suggested, and he agreed to it. In the last week I have sent you several pm's to touch base with you,in regard to our agreement, you never responded. I really hope you work out your problem with Diamond, but I would of liked to of heard from you with our deal.Good luck, and I still wish that you would deliver me that ProAm and set it up.If not, well I guess I booked another loser. Good luck,Bill Incardona

Wake Up Out Their "diamond"

Obviously this guy feels he is being ignored by you all, for what ever reason, purposely or not.

Maybe your business in YOUR eyes seems more important, but YOUR tables OBVIOUSLY wont get set up by this guy anymore if you dont resolve the situation and open your eyes up and realize the importance of this situation.

This guy has deemed it so important to post this on a WORLD WIDE FORUM, and risk being heckled by all the usual rail birds who like to chime in and berate someone. It must be a pretty important thing that maybe you all have overlooked or have underestimated as NOT IMPORTANT enough to fix..

I understand that anyone that drives over the road has alot of extra expense because of fuel prices but to top it off it would suck to lease a truck that breaks down all the time and has to spend alot more money out of his pocket to get the job done that comes out of his own profit, which is small I am sure, compared to yours.

If you truly are in the wrong t would be best to correct it before all...

I just haven't had the time to respond to your pm, my pm's are still filling up with work requests, I can't keep up with them when I'm working;)

I do have to say, that if there's any major expences to repair this truck, Diamond does pay for that, like last week...when the water pump broke off....that's right, the water pump shaft BROKE OFF, and the fan went through the radiator, causing a few thousand in repairs, but...what's next with 339,862 miles on it, and that was at the gas station sitting idling, good think I wasn't out in the middle of NO WHERE!:D
