Not easy , not routine, nice shot under any conditions, having said that
if I could not do this I would be mad at myself and that"s all I have to say about that.
Whoa too many movie quotes

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but, oh well..... The shot- it comes up all the time in 9 ball, and is fairly routine. To get that much 'hook' is a little unusual, and is dependent on the conditions. To draw across and back down for shape on the 5 is not hard at all. Why the announcers made such a big deal of it, I don't know.
As to taking that route, quite frankly, Corey had his head up his arse. While not hard to do, it was the wrong way to go in that instance. He EASILY could have put some right on it and gone two rails to get to the same spot, and wouldn't of had to worry about hitting it so good.
Those thank think I'm full of it, try it both ways. You will be surprised.
its by far not an easy shot an its not a Routine shot
i would love too see neil or anyone on here that says its easy an see how many tries it takes them . an not do it till u get it right then show us ....so if u can talk the talk then walk the walk an do it lets all see it
i said it was easy too do on the best tables clean an with good slide an airconditioning it would take me a few tries too do it i prolly can.t do it
an yes my period button is still broken lol
hmmm.... is this where I should say "Anyone that can't do it, needs to get their arse off the forums and start practicing so they can do it too!" ?
p.s.- what's with you and your "post a video or you are full of it" lines lately?? I'm not about to post a video, even if I had a camera to do so. Maybe you ought to change your attitude to "hey, if someone else can do it, then there is no reason I can't too. I better go practice so I can do it if I need to." Instead of "Hey, if I think it's tough, then I don't believe anyone else can do it unless I see it."
As far as your 'grown folks' comment, well, let me know when you get there as far as pool knowledge and ability goes.
What crickets??? I already stated that I did it on my first attempt. As far as the video, what's the point? I stand by my word, if you or anyone else doesn't want to believe it, that's your problem, not mine.
I have a question for you though, suppose several of us did post a video doing it, how would you feel then?? Or would you, as I'm sure some on here would, say it was a gaff table, or that it took 1,000 attempts and we edited it?? More videos of existing shots don't prove anything.
But, it's this attitude that there aren't any more "what would you do here" threads by me or others. Too many see a weakness in their game and have to try and belittle others that don't have that weakness, instead of learning something and practicing it. To each their own I guess.

Don't know how true this is or not, but I've read multiple times that Corey did not get out this rack.
Great shot though.
It is an unbelievable shot but he would have got position going forward.
Well im glad he shot it like that. I enjoyed watching it. I believe he shot it like that because he was feelin it you know when you feel it in your gut you can do it and it was exciting to see. Now everybody continue to explain how easy the shot is lol! People can't just enjoy something they always want to critique it.
Yeah, I dont know why they dont show him making the 9, but they show him making the 8 and the CB rolling down towards the 9. I am inclined to believe, with a pretty solid hold, that he did sink the 9.
Corey did NOT get out here. I've seen the whole match, and he hung the 9.![]()
Exactly. There are tons of us who could get that position with outside draw. Its not that difficult when you add English into the equation. But to hit it with pure power draw and have it bend coming off the rail is ridiculous. I don't think many pros could duplicate it....let alone would call it easy. It blows my mind that people would even consider calling it as such, especially given the circumstances.

Great shot though.
You're letting the bending impress you way too much. I know that you are one person around here that knows pool so it surprises me that you are that impressed and being so defensive on this. On a table with fresh cloth and clean balls, and the stroke of a professional, that shot really isn't all that impressive. It sure looked neat though. Give me those table conditions and I'm pretty confident I could do it.
