OB cues shut down?

Kinda doubt that. They might buy the name but they won't make cues here when they have state-of-the-art shops back in Taiwan/China. I was hoping it was OB that was taking over Meucci but that doesn't look to be in the cards.
Is Meucci for sale?

If it was sold and new management takes over I hope they can turn it into a first class operation.
After all it is an old American based company.
Of course they can always shut down the factory and outsource it to China/Taiwan.

I had one for a bit when it was being sent around AZB for demo/testing, found a funny thing about using it. Many players hated to use it since it unquestionably pointed out the issues with their game LOL It's like sour grapes, they put it on, thing went nuts with all the stroke flaws, they said "eh, I don't need it anyway, I play fine, it's too heavy to use" and continued to play at a C level.
Mine goes off like a vibrator.

I msg'd the guy and he said he stops in the factory fairly often. Said the lady at the desk told him that Bob's long-time shop mgr. bought the company. Possible but i'm kinda surprised that the shop mgr. could afford it. Maybe Bob's 'totin the note' as they say in used car speak.

I wonder if the long time manager will up the quality or will it be hit or miss as usual.
You would think if it's his money on the line he would want to put out the highest quality product possible to increase sales, kind of a basic business formula.

A lot of times the "Plant Team" gets pushed and pulled by front office. A few years ago I ran an operation that was given one days notice to move building (on same property). This would normally need about a months planning. All on the fly without shutting down production. It was chaos! Three months after the move we still had not worked out the bugs and we had inventory in the isles. Nobody knew where half the stuff was and our production was down 40%. Same management looked at me and declared I wasn't a team player and our staff were spoiled. We burned out a lot of good people.
