Sometimes I make an octagonal handle for Russian cues. I think to try this for a pool cue. Wanted to know, does anyone make such handle for pool cues? Maybe somebody has tested such handle. How it is comfortable for you? Please show these options here, if you have. I would appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

Thanks. I know about Longoni. But maybe somebody of custom cuemakers make such handle.

There are a couple down here with some of the league players. I think there's somebody in the Philippines doing it for them and sending 'em?

Schmelke cue with Octoganal handle

I converted a Schmelke Cue that I had to an Octagonal handle. William Lee at Willee Cue, in Corpus Christi, made an NC program to do the cutting. I refinished it. I like it. It's different. Very unique. I like the feel of the Octoganal handle. Photos attached.

I don't understand why more custom cue maker's don't offer this handle as an option.

that's one way to get people not to roll thier cues on the table :rotflmao:

Thanks for the replies.

But I would like to hear the views of those who held such cue in his hands and played them. Is it convenient for a pool cue? In Russia, for example, are some fans of such handles.

LOL :D. Then easier to make just one face on the butt then the cue is not rolled . Like here for example.

This method allows to increase the diameter where the hand holds, while almost no increase weight.
