Other than you and BlackJack I have yet to find anyone that has ordered a Wheat cue and no one seems to have one. Even Varney has cues for resales here and pics in the gallery of shipped cues to customers. Ed Where are your cues and not the same old pictures you keep reposting?

Ed claims to have many customers (generated by these threads) yet no one ever wants to sell one or show it off? Very strange.

Anyone out there have a Wheat Cue?

I have one.

I don't have a Wheat Cue, but I have six giant pies from The Village Inn ( topped with whipped cream & little pieces of shaved chocolate) and a gallon of chocolate milk to enable me to cope with this frustrating ordeal.....

Oh! Fooey!!Charlie!!

I've never doubted any ones word in this post in the least but I bet this is what happened. This could explain it all. Eddie is driven to Post-Office goes in an mails package but purely by mistake (I mean it could happen to anyone) he mails it to himself. You know one block from the river at grand-
mothers house. Hey EW its time to man up again lets see some reciepts an
an shipping info. Maybe just maybe you mailed it to wrong add. an we can
get this straightened out.
Hope this helps.............:p
Pinocchio
Ordering a cue should not be brutality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm shipping it today.

I posted about a Wheat cue that I saw that was very unique, it wasn't very old but Eddie said he didn't remember building it at all. It was for a very good playing woman professional from his area yet he didn't recall it at all, I thought that was very odd but hey my memory isn't the sportiest either.

I'm in between bites at the moment, let me take a whack at this one:
Eddie is dating an F.B.I. Agent and denies knowledge of building a cue for a very good Woman Professional ? Hmmmmm ?

Hey everyone has their reasons for doing things, I have no clue why he wouldn't remember or admit to remembering building the cue unless he was either that forgetful or he was embarrassed by it. Either way it doesn't matter to me I just mentioned that I was happy to have a Wheat cue in my hands so that I could see his handiwork.

Your guess is as good as mine sir.

I like it just fine. It's a head turned that is for sure. Great looking piece of wood and nice balance and feel. He does good work. I am not sure what the circumstances are between him and Charlie so I will not comment or go near that situation.
As far as my cue goes... I love it. He has stayed true to his word with me when he was making it for me in that he would fix or adjust it for free if I ever needed him to.

It is in the pics that he uses. Mine is the quilted maple with the black wrap. That is my idea and I would not let him pretty it up at all. He actually had to talk me into the rings which he threw in for no cost to me.

Ahhaaa whelp now we know where 1 of the 4 or 5 cues Ed Wheat has made in the last 18 years went. Strange how captain novel hasn't been on ever since he supposedly shipped the cue. I can not even imagine what type of person it takes to screw someone over for that long and then "supposedly" go to the post office and not get any sort of tracking information, to cover your own ass AT THE LEAST, or to just show a smidgen of good faith, but was too much to ask for I guess

George why would you attack me for speaking out against what I feel is a wrong? To confront a dishonesty is not "BS". I had already agreed with Koop to let the matter play out prior to your post.Another day has come and gone and still no cue for Mr. Edwards.Your "STFU" comment was innapropriate.I had to have someone translate the "STFU" for me or I would have responded sooner.I suggest you examine the fact pattern and direct your "obnoxiousness" to the appropriate party.

My post is pretty irrelevant to the situation.

If it WAS in the Olympics, at least we could blame all the problems on the CHINESE.

I believe the Chinese are behind this whole Wheat Cue debacle, also..... imo

Doug
(as a form of protest, I am boycotting Chinese food & Buffets until Charlie Edwards receives his cue)

Brian, it's the repetiveness of your posts that is over the top. You've repeated ad naseum your feelings about the whole situation, everyone gets how you feel about it. After wading through post after post of yours that basically repeats the same sentiments over and over again it became somewhat sickening to me.
FTR I agree with you on just about everything you wrote but why you feel the need to go on about it like a broken record I can't fathom. It's not your cue nor is it your deal so to me it seems that you have taken this a little bit too personally. To date you've made 38 posts in this thread and about 30 of them say pretty much the same thing, you don't feel that's a little excessive for someone with no vested interest in the transaction?
Creating a thread like this to bring peoples attention to the way someone like EW conducts his business is a good thing but you seem to have gone off the deep end a little here. Objectively reread the volume and repetitiveness of your posts in this thread and tell me you disagree.

Again, anyone who reads this thread and has any common sense will most likely never do business with EW. Mission accomplished, now lets see what happens next.

The record shows that he was on this morning at 9:36, so he's been around, just doesn't want to face the music. It's to bad, as he could have redeemed some face by sending it overnite, but I really doubt that it was sent priority, being 5 days already, unless the P.O. lost it. The other senerio could be, he sent it to one of the other customers he has, by mistake of course. One way to look at it is, everything else about this cue deal (except payment by Charlie) has been one long delay/excuse, so why would the 'alleged' delivery be any different?
In reality, all that he needs to do at this point is pm Charlie the post office info, all the numbers, etc. There isn't a need for us to see it, but it is important for Charlie to receive this info ASAP so he can get a postal inspector looking for the 'lost' package. Any avoidance of passing that info to Charlie, distinctly gives the impression that there is something not right on Ed's part.
Hopefully it all ends tomorrow, when the post man knocks twice.......

IF, and I doubt this is the case, that responsibility would fall into the senders lap.
