And I don't speak for the 2-3-4, so I guess your offer is out there.
There are quite a few people that might "practice" the ten ball ghost, but very few that come out on top. Those that can, we will all probably know who they are anyway. By the way, Black Balled, I figured out where I know you from.

Every person and i mean every person who put down they beat the 10 ball ghost can try it and bet what you want on my 9 ft pro cut diamond and you can win A LOT.

Ooo, a diamond pro. Nice table. That's tight right? I might need time to talk a backer into something so crazy...

I might bring my twin brother to try it to if you let him, he plays with the opposite hand that I do and he's no better than me. He's a little crazy though.

nobody put that they beat the ten ball ghost for the last friggin time......

The Poll was not about who could BEAT THE TEN BALL GHOST DAMNIT, so I wish that people would stop saying that.

The poll was what ghost do you break even with, so it would be the next ghost after the ghost that you win against.

I was going to post a video but I decided against it. I don't really care what people on AZ think. The people that know me here know what I am capable of and anyone else needs to come match up if they want to know, but at least get it right.

The people that chose G10 were not saying that they beat the 10 ball ghost, they were saying that they break even with the ten ball ghost.

I have beaten the ten ball ghost in a race to five and I have lost to the ten ball ghost, to be honest I have lost to it a little more often than I have won.

It would be stupid of anyone to come and play against the ten ball ghost on your or anyone's table for that matter, because they weren't saying that they could beat it.

Jaden.

My table also has 4 inch pockets, so the fact that I've ever beaten the tenball ghost is something. If anyone thinks that I'm lying come say it to my face. I'll be at hardtimes this weekend. That would also mean that I was lying about my score in the driver maker tourney considering that I won it this last year. Again, anyone who wants to call me liar, come do it to my face.

Let me add something, if you want to call me a liar and THEN challenge me to a match, I'm going to turn you down because I'm not going to play pissed off, but if anyone wants a friendly game to see my level or just for fun, feel free. Hell, if you're going to be at the round robin tourney this weekend, and don't want to play me to find out, just ask Lousi Ulrich or Frank Dabarber how I shoot. I'm just getting tired of people challenging people on this site that have been here for a long time and provided a lot of good information to try and help people get better.

Me either ,,it was not reference to the table . I was merely stating thats what i got and its not a bucket. I am saying i believe the people who said they "break" even with the 10 ball ghost are using the term a hair loosely.

I beleive they may have done it once and think "i can beat the 10 ball ghost" I have seen many champions beat it and even the 12 and 13 ball but the names i read were not the 10 players i seen do it and i believe they were fudging their speed.. And if sooooo ,, i merely stated they could do it at my house an nice long race and they could win a lot.

Thats all i meant...... JAden take a valium and dont put words in my mouth:thumbup:

Sorry Cincyman....

It wasn't so much a response to you as a reaction to some other things said. I've worked really hard at this game and at keeping my integrity to have people challenge what I claim and shoot down my game. If you do a search, you'll see that people have even made posts before about my proven integrity. Big Truck made a thread about something I did and Frank dabarber responded in kind, so I get a bit pissed off when people question my integrity.

I have made no bones about having trouble playing for money or under pressure; although, I am getting better at it.

I had some emotional problems early on because of personal issues and it affected my game made me take a long lay off and it's been hard going getting back into it. My ability is still there, but my ability while under pressure still has a little to be desired. This has prevented me from playing my best at the few events I've been able to play in. This coupled with the recent stress that my devotion to pool has put on my marriage makes it difficult to take people challenging my integrity and my ability.

I try not to use drugs to fix my problems so I won't be taking any valium, but now that I've vented a little I will try to curb my attitude a little.

well

for all you guys who beat the 10 ball ghost or play it even i cant run 3 balls so i guess you can come out and give me wieght since you play good and since i cant run 3 balls i get the 4 out or 5 out

and for a player who beats it all the time this shouldnt be a prob and im not talking garbage just seeing if i can get a game like that

I voted the 7 ball ghost. If someone wants me to play the 10 ball I would say I get like 9 or 10 ball in hands. 10 ball ghost scares me.

just to clarify

Hello all. Maybe we can clarify some things and get some action going.

First off, this is what I read when I responded:

[I think there is no better objective way to gauge your speed as a player than by giving the particular rotation ghost with which you play more or less even, say for a race to 5. The only subjective aspect of this rating system is what type of equipment you use to determine your rating. For consistency sake, let's assume a fairly tight table with 4.5'' corner pockets as the standard for the "ghost rating".]

I didn't say that I could beat the 10 ball ghost, that I could do it on a snooker table, or that I could do it in the dark. I said that on a fairly tight table, racing to 5, I could split sets.

Anybody that doesn't believe me that would like to work out a wager along those terms please let me know. No need to high roll each other, but of course if travel is involved the wager would have to be more than $100.

Anybody that doesn't believe me that doesn't want to wager can continue to post or think whatever they want.

P.S. Maybe I am overestimating my game or underrating the difficulty of the 10 ball ghost. Hey, I've booked losers before. I just like my chances of splitting sets and have a little heart and a little gamble. If I do end up loser for the dough I will publicly correct my vote and have no hard feelings.

I just beat the 9 ball ghost 7-3,7-3 back to back on a pro-cut diamond 7ft. Never really tried it before. Would that be considered good?

bump for action

Gosh, things got mighty quiet around these parts. What happened to all of the haters that wanted to bet on the 10 ball ghost? Maybe this will help me get a game......

Back in the day when I actually gambled using my opponent as the ghost I could win more timed than I lost....

So I'm quite partial to the 9-ball ghost myself since that is my game of preference and was pretty comfortable getting out !!!

Of course there's not much action and worthwhile tournaments around these parts anymore that forces me to actually "play" so "mabey" I'm losing my edge ????
