I saw the start of their match and they were both averaging around 1.00, which is great for pool players.

Jason Brown beat Woodward and Kiamco to get to the finals. Corey beat Sean Morgan and Phillip Wines to get to the finals. Because the tournament was running late, the 1P finals was shortened by a game or two. Corey won but it was close -- edit -- oops .. Corey lost. I guess I was tired and hungry.

Bob, I was watching your match, forget who you played, but it was the match when you and Archer bumped into each other. Hope he didn't say anything rude to you after that.

No, there was no comment. I think that was against Wines.

Dechaine won the match 20-13 in 31 innings. Dechaine got off to a hot start but then Shane came back to take a 11-10 lead but then he went ice cold which all of us you play 3C know the feeling. You could clearly see that Shane can easily become a solid 3C player if he puts more time into the game. All in all they put on a good show and played respectable.
 
I thought my financial results at the SBE might be interesting in the discussion of the state of "professional" pool in the US. My total expenses including airfare, parking, rental car, motel and entry, but excluding meals (which I would have paid for anyway), ran to about $1700. If I had finished 1st rather than 9th in the 1P I would have netted $300 for three days of play. If I had finished second, I would have paid $200 for the experience.
