old micarte update

Hi Richard,

Just a suggestion for the best yield. Try a waterjet. You won't burn excess material that way...

Regards,

Steve

The Above E-mal Is A Scam, At Least Through Everything I Have Ever Seen, It Appears To Be A Scam.

I'm Still Interested In Ferrules. Please Let Me Know.

Richard,

Thank you for the reply on a big topic like this. Hopefully I will be hearing from you about my e-mail.

those are either scams as fatsnloose said or lunatics.$23,500 for 180 ferrules, please.i wouldn't recommend dealing with any of the crazy e-mails,i know you think well how can they scam me if i have the product and they have to pay me to get it.well don't worry they will find a way to get over on you somehow.it is just some freindly advice but if the offer sound to good to be true or is way over market value, you should probebly not reply.

Your next email is likely to read something like. Ok we can proceed I will send a US Casiers check overnight priority ect Its for $30.000.00 please deposit the $30,000 and send me the micarta and $6500.00 because thats the amount the bank issued me. Or some crap simular. Trust me about 5 years ago i went through a simular deal on an antique car even got a casier check on a real bank however the cashiers check was a fraud. I promptly delivered the cashiers check to the local treasury dept office to an agent. He said these scam go on a lot. Luckly I called the issuing bank to validate it before depositing the fake check.

Just be careful!!!!!

that would be a story.has anyone confirmed it is the old asbestos paper based micarta?
