On Chuck Bobbitt...

Frank, I thought you were Frank Almanza all this time! He comes into my room on occasion as well.

Oh well, I just think it would improve things, especially in a sport that has had such an image problem for the past 100+ years.

Danny
Not me Dan, I try to stay out of these type of threads but I do read them all. I just hope this gets resolved to the players satisfation.

Very funny Jay. You might realize that there is some merit to what I'm saying instead of chiming in like everyone else and making a mockery of it.

By the way, I'm not taking this personal and I'm not thinned skin, like you intimated before.

There is much to be gained by people doing what you do, which is posting your name and taking responsibility for what you say and do.

If everyone posted who they are, wouldn't it be a better forum?

Danny

There are links in my signature that identify who I am, but most people here know my real name - anyway, it's Dave Sapolis for those that don't.

I believe that everybody that is in conflict within this thread already know who each other are (by now they should). I think that the bigger problem is that the arguing has taken this thread completely off topic. IMO, somebody should start another thread that deals specifically with the titled issue.

Here are my replies of the day

JAM This really is childish. Like a lil kid we have to go back & show who started it first. Just go back & look - any name calling was always started by JAM towards me. Very rarely to I stoop to the redneck bar mentality that gets you no where but further disrespect by others. There have been a multitude of insults thrown out by her & references - negative rep with insults.

All because 4 years ago I questioned an article in a billiard magazine that Keith McReady (hers - as she uses the possesive about him all the time, like she owns him) wrote (well JAM wrote it for him but under his name) that made disparaging remarks about Louie Roberts. Louie, being dead, can't defend himself so I just let her know that the disparaging remarks had no reference to the point that Keith was making in his story. The article was about how 9 ball should go back to two shot roll out - a valid point - and transcending to the time that Keith played Louie and Louie got several backers to give him money for the same cue - a non valid point in the topic of the article. I was pleasant in telling her that I thought this should have been left out. She questioned who I was, tried a google search on me & thought I was some history professor in Wisconsin, if I could draw my ball, if I was worthy to talk to her or hers (Keith) and if I really knew Louie or any other pro player that would qualify me to talk to her or speak about pool.

I just showed Keith what you wrote, and he wants to respond to you.

I don't think it is a good idea, mainly because he is angry, but he doesn't want his good name and his writings once again trashed by you.

What you say holds a lot of merit, Danny. I understand your thoughts. :)

That said, I wish I had never revealed my identity on this forum. I most likely would enjoy it a lot more.

BTW, what's your identity, Shinobi?

Watchez strike again with untruths, insults, and embellishments.

First off, it is Keith M-c-C-r-e-a-d-y.

I have never stated that I "own" Keith. Is this sarcasism once again from you towards me?

The article is Keith's, not mine, and he has received positive feedback from hundreds of readers about the article. Keith and Louie happened to be good friends, but you act as if Keith was degrading him. Keith has spoken to you about this directly on RSB NG, but you want to pick scabs and bring it forth on this forum.

Frankie, don't waste your time, if you read this.

This is a lie. I have never met Mr. Wilson, don't know where he lives, and have never been to his house for dinner. Where do you come up with these untruths?

Watchez, you continue to instigate.

JAM
See now JAM - here you go again. The scab was broken when you accused me of having hatred for yours (Keith). I was just letting everyone know where this accusation originated from. I have no hatred for Keith, whatever you might think. I have offered, in the past, as a peace offering to buy him a few beers. I simply had a difference of opinion with him (or you) for putting that story in the article. Sorry if you don't agree with my opinion but it had no bearing - whether Keith & Louie were friends or not. It was not meant to trash his name. Sorry he feels that way or you have made him feel that way.

How many times have you posted on this forum 'what is mine' or 'me and mine' - 100s. Those are possessive terms, like it or not.

A very reputable poster told me about the dinner. If it is untrue, than that person lied to me. I doubt it. Maybe you should, you live close enough to each other.

Frankie or anyone again, please feel free to call me. I love to talk to the boys from back where I grew up. I don't know why JAM would tell you not to waste your time. Next time in NY, seriously, come have a drink on me @ the Ritz or if you don't want to come uptown we could meet at Lenny's Clam Bar. I love Howard Beach. I have some famous local relatives there in recent history. Google my uncle Augustus Agate & see what Howard Beach incident he was involved in. From your picture, and not to be rude, I am sure that you are old enough to remember it well.

This thread is titled "Oh Chuck Bobbitt..." Let's get back to that.

This is rich. You have in the past posted some lies about Keith, to include a very big one that Louie Roberts was supposed to have Keith's role in the movie, The Color of Money. Then when you are confronted with this lie, you say you heard it from a good friend who was a good friend of a friend of Louie's. I mean, come on.

As far as dinner or drinks with you, I wouldn't break bread with you if I was starving.

I have never met Mr. Wilson or eaten dinner with him. Where do you come up with these lies? Oh, yeah, a good friend of a friend of a friend. LOL!

"Me and mine" is a southern term. I've used it all my life. Now you want to play semantics. This is rich.

You continue to instigate me personally on this forum. Then you target Keith, an innocent person who has done nothing to warrant it.

BTW, again, Keith and Louie Roberts were very, very, very good friends. For you to say Keith spoke poorly about him is sickening.

No word yet but I guess he is trying to come up with the money. I am sure if and when it gets paid - Jay will let us know. Jay do you have an update today?

Jam, If everyone revealed their identities they wouldn't be so impulsive to write something that, if others knew who they were, they might regret saying it.

And so it would be much more civil and enjoyable. That's all I'm saying. Actually, all I know about you is that you're Keith's girlfriend. I've known Keith for 30 years or so, and I notice that when he posts here, however seldom, he uses his real name.

I also don't believe these members would try to argue with you the way they do if their true identity was posted every time they write something.

It would still be a lot of fun.

thanks B. I was never trying to chastise the man. I'm sure everyone has bitten off more than they could chew at one time or another, but for him to knowingly write the bad checks and then continually lie to Jay is a totally unexcusable act. It would have been a thousand times better for him to simply say I don't have all of the money and I will get it as soon as I can. I would also like to know where all of the money from the tourney went. The numbers just don't add up.

I hope to meet you someday, Danny. Maybe Keith and I will drive out to California and hang out at your pool room. I read good things about it.

One thing for sure, we'll have a good time! BTW, my name is Jennie Ann!:)

Fine, JAM. You're right. I guess in your world, it's impossible for two adults to work things out. Grudges must be held forever. Old disagreements must be rehashed ad infinitum. Great attitude, that.

I agree C. :) I live here in Phoenix/Tempe and am honestly disgusted by what he has done. Not by him, but what he has done. I have nothing against him but his behaviour is/was inexcusable.

Currently Looking To See If Either One Of Their Names Is In "My Little Black Book"

Here is an article that I just read and the person is using their real name (to make Danny K. happy). This guy could bail Chuck Bobbit out in a nano second. Someone get right on it, OK ?

From today's New Orleans news:

Metairie Powerball winning couple claims prize
by Paul Rioux, The Times-Picayune
Thursday May 08, 2008, 11:04 AM
A Metairie couple stepped up to claim a $97 million Powerball prize today in Baton Rouge.

Carl and Dianne Hunter were introduced during a news conference at the Louisiana Lottery headquarters. The couple elected to take the lump sum payout, which after taxes will be $33.9 million, lottery officials said.

Carl Hunter, 73, owns a small construction company. He said he will retire. Dianne Hunter is 62.

Carl Hunter said he's played the lottery for the past 10 years or so. He said he was working late one evening in January and called his wife to ask if she needed him to pick anything up on his way home. She asked if would stop to buy a gallon of milk.

He stopped at the West Metairie Shell, 5900 West Metairie Ave. in Metairie, for the milk and had some money left over, so he bought a Powerball ticket.

The ticket matched all six winning numbers -- 9, 18, 19, 38, 47 and Powerball 11. It was the lone winning ticket in the Jan. 16 drawing and was the 12th winning Powerball ticket sold in Louisiana since the state joined the multistate drawing in 1995.

"It's all about milk. Got Milk?'' Dianne Hunter said, making reference to the popular television and magazine advertisements touting milk.

Asked why they waited so long to claim the prize, Carl Hunter said he needed time to get his business affairs in order.

Asked what he'll do with the money, he said, "I haven't thought about that yet. I''m not really anxious to buy anything. I'm going to have to give that some thought.''

One thing that will happen, he said, is that his fishing camp on Lake Catherine will be rebuilt. It was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina.

The couple said they'll work to make sure the money doesn't change them.

"I'm not the kind of person that goes all out, spending a lot of money,'' Carl Hunter said. "I'm kind of conservative. We'll try to keep as normal as they were in the past.''

I spoke with Jay earlier today and he is very busy dealing with this situation. It's good to see someone out there that believes in integrity and taking care of what needs to be taken care of - I admire his dedication to our game!

JAM-

And you said I was a history professor in Wisconsin.

At least you are now admitting that you use the term 'me and mine'. Sorry I am not from the South. They say caddywhampus (sp?) down there too but I have no idea what that means or how to use it in every day sentences either.

If Keith & Louie were really close friends, then Keith will know of the one true friend that Louie had for many years. He should only need one guess. That is how I met Louie, knew Louie, even talked to him 2 hours before he died. You can stretch it anyway that gives you comfort. Yes, Louie was bad with money - that is the first thing that I was warned about. Why - because others respected me. Post the article anytime (I wish I saved it) & let's take a vote to see if the story of selling the cue to multiple backers had any bearing on that 9 ball should be two shot roll out. Just a matter of a writer not looking before leaping. There was no ill will towards Keith. Hell, I even helped you by telling Dean DeForest that Keith wanted to talk to him. If I had such hatred for Keith as you seem to think, then why would I care to help him in any way?

Fruitless - I have no put JAM on ignore. I should have listened to corvette & others a long time ago. Merry Christmas. This is my last post on this subject.
