Thats funny right there, Chris breaks almost as good as Shane, if Chris had a pissy break the lines would read different on this match. I don't think Chris would be as confident about it if Shane was breaking for Gene.
Gene has to fade that break. If I would have made this game they wouldn't be playing 10 ball

I haven't really seen Chris play but like once five or so years ago in Vegas when he played John and cannot really remember. By all means I know he plays strong and that he is AZ's hero I just cabt remember how well. Anyway good luck to him on his upcoming match

Too many people think a couple matches over a few days proves one is better than another. To me, it means that person shot better for those sets. This is just a fun grudge match based on back and forth for years.
It's what pool needs more of. I'd love to find out how many viewers this gets. I'd think more than a TAR match, but I could be WAY wrong on that.
Gene could be in top form and get there, maybe not. If he does, maybe there's some more matching up in Beloit. Who knows.
This has the perfect drama. The favorite full of confidence he's gonna take it down. The underdog not chirping, but promising to give it his all. It's white hat vs black hat all the way.

I like this thread and I hate to see it plugged up with this.. Woofing is tiresome, it doesn't do any good, and it chases folks away from playing as they don't wanna be a part of it. But someone might win some dough! omg!

Home Table Advantage and 10 Ball on the Big Box?
I don't understand why they are playing on Chris's table at Players? You would think that they would at least play on a neutral table. Another point would be, Chris's best game is 10 ball on the big box, and Gene's is 9 ball on the bar box is my understanding. This doesn't seem like an even game to me. I heard a rumor that they might try to move it to Centerfolds. I was told that the best playing 9 foot diamond in Columbus is there? That would at least be neutral territory and a lot better scenery.

I'm not sure what Centerfolds is but the name surely ignites imagination.
If I played at Chris's level, I wouldn't play him on his personal table, that's for sure.
