On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

Driving 9 hours and not enough sleep is not good.........

Well, i got done with the match with Bartram in Columbus and had to get my van worked on the next day.

Got out of the motel at 11:00. Only got about 6 hours sleep after being wore out mentally and physically.

They put in a CV joint but should have put in 2. Still have a big problem with the shaking.

Plus i found out why I couldn't put gas in the van very good. Someone was stealing my gas and the hose broke off in the gas tank plugging it up.

By the time I got out of the service station it was about 5:30 and I took off to Beloit. About a 9 hours drive with a few stops.

Got to Beloit and the motels I usually stay at there were full. Some Jimmy Buffet concert going on. Sat was full everywhere.

I finally found a room at about 6:00.

Tired, wore out and very stiff and sore i finally got some sleep. It wasn't enough to be in shape to play pool. I lost 2 matches in the tourny and felt like i was helpless.

But i did the best I could do considering the circumstances. If I would have not paid the entry ahead of time i wouldn't even have tried to travel and play knowing that this is the recipe for disaster if you trying to win a tourny.

So basically the gas money, entry fee, motel room, calcutta money was basically wasted.

About $700 spent before i hit a ball. This is the amount that most of these players are investing that travel to get here. So you know they are rested and have done everything they can to be ready.

My boat was sunk on the way here for sure.

Whenever i drive 9 hours i need a day before I feel good enough to compete. Really compete.

The plan was to take another crack at Bartram here on the bartable.

Unlike the 9" diamond with 4" pockets the diamond pro cuts are my cup of tea.

I am doing lessons here in Beloit today for sure so playing Chris might be out of the question.

If there is anyone close to Beloit that wants to learn Perfect Aim just give me a call. I'll try to get to you before I take off.

In the meantime.

I'm here at the carom room doing what i do. Helping players play this game we love so much better in a short period of time.

I had a young up and coming player come up to a player last night that I was going to give a lesson to. Ben told me that the young gun told him that he had heard that Perfect Aim didn't work very good.

After Ben got done with the lesson i asked him what he thought about the young guns comment.

If he only knew how well this works. Ben was delighted with what he learned for sure. We had been trying to hook up for about 3 years. Nothing was going to stop him from seeing this with his own eyes.

I run into this allot with players that play at a high level or any level for that matter. They just can't even imagine that they can't see .

That's why i offer to put a $100 bill in their pocket before the lesson. If Perfect Aim is not the best thing they have ever seen since they've been playing pool in the first 15 minutes they can stop the lesson and keep the $100 bill.

I've done this about 100 times in the last year and have still not lost the $100.

I even had about 5 of these players do it with the idea they were just going to make $100. After seeing what they saw they wanted to see the rest. And pay the full $200 for the lesson with the video.

I don't care who it is. I would do this with Efren or even Chris Bartram.

It works for everyone.

I would rather play Bartram on a normal pocket table though before I showed him.

Did you beat skyler?

Was down 14-7 in a race to 21 getting 2 games to 21

$2000 bet that way and then picked up another $2000 getting 4 games.

I was down 14- 7 and got rolling and made the score 17-15 my favor.

I lost 21-18 breaking even.

Should have won. Just didn't get there.

Being in the fire with you helped me with this match. Had the jitters at the beginning. Ran out of gas at the end.

15 more Lbs to go. Then i'll build some endurance. I'll be stirring up allot of action and be winning. I was so weak and shaky at the end. Couldn't eat enough because i needed to keep the blood sugar down. Get down to 175 I can eat all i want when i play......

I'll get there. more determined then ever. I want to play and compete.

Glad to see you cashed at Beloit.

Most People get Fired Up if ya get my drift- I carry a sample coffin cue case too.

Congrats if you have beaten Jessy- Was it a tournement or money match- You failed to respond about some guy(something shot)?? a while ago I offered to help you with this player in mn. mind is blank - he always woofed at ya. We talked at the derby in like 2005. I played in the banks in 2005? It was Shanes 1st attempt in the banks. Freezer is my friend, Shane , Tad, Danny. I was with Mr. Ronnie Allen and another guy who won the banks that yr. A good friend named Fred - from indianapolis built cues for a few of the banking fools- thanks mark

I'm in Milwaukee right now..........

Did a free Perfect Aim seminar at Romines High pockets.

Things are going great there as usual.

I gave about 15 mini lessons and set up 2 full lessons tomorrow.

Then it's of to Columbus to do a little fund raiser work.

Dee Adkins has a young friend that he has been teaching and now needs some help.

Sounds like allot of fun with a whole bunch of people doing something really worth while.

Then it's off to Minnesota to do 3 Perfect Aim lessons with Tor Lowrys 14 days.

This guy just keeps getting it down making show after show teaching players everywhere and improving their games.

Many people don't know this but he does this all for free.

We need about 100 of these guys like Tor running around helping players everywhere.

Got to get some sleep and then it's back on the road for the 8 hour drive to Columbus.

In Indy right now......

Stayed overnight to do a lesson.

Then I will battle it out with Bobby Dickerson the rest of the night and then it's off to Columbus for a benefit. Try to help raise some money.

This will be a fun lesson. The father is bringing his 12 year old son. Another young man that is on his way up in this pool world and Perfect Aim will give him a big boost.

Great day in Columbus, Ohio...........

There was a benefit tourny for a young man named William.

I drove down here to work with the players for a small fee and donate it all to the kids with cancer fund.

There were 2 tournys going on. A jack and jill and a singles.

The players were so busy that very few got to come over and work with me.

But the high light of my day was when William came over for a little help.

With a patch over his left eye and glasses on we went to work.

It turned out that William is left eye dominant. He was still seeing the shot with his left eye through the side of the patch. He didn't know this.

He was having trouble making the shots when his right eye was over to the left a little too much.

Once he seen this the patch came off and he was firing the balls right in.

A couple of times I had to fight off the tears. Especially when he said he was getting tired.

We cut it short then. but this young man is a fighter for sure.

Dee Adkins works with these kids allot and my hat is off to him for sure.

On top of running this thing i think Dee won the singles event.

Way to go Dee.

Sounds like I might be taking a girl on the road with me. She should be up to pro speed in a couple of months.

Another story in the making. You saw it first right here.

But right here in Columbus, Ohio. A day i will never forget.

These kids are on my Prayer list and I hope as many people as possible can add them to theirs.

A special day with some special kids.............

Still working on the van and doing lessons in Columbus.......

Getting life back on track and getting grounded.

Many players that travel on the road get lost. By this i mean they lose their Mojo (Inner self) while playing, not sleeping enough and just dealing with everything life has to throw at you while persuing your dream.

A person just needs to slow down and smell the roses and that is exactly what I am doing right now.

I have action on Wed with a guy named Steve that plays pretty sporty. And i have a lesson with Duane today.

But the main focus in the next few days is taking care of my personal self.

Then it's up up and away again on another adventure.

Right now tommy as we speak i have about $4,000 invested in this match.

It will be allot more by Tuesday for sure.

I'm also getting in stroke and really like my chances to win this match.

If I didn't think i could i wouldn't be playing it.

Good luck if you bet either way. I like my end.

We should try another set or 2
