On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

I was reading some of the post from Geno with all the things that bother him. Its either smoking, sleeping, or maybe even noises from someone touching computer buttons. Dont know if its a word but I think Geno has GENOPHOBIA.

Genophobia is the physical or psychological fear of sexual relations or sexual intercourse. The word comes from the Greek terms genos, meaning “offspring,” and phobos, meaning “fear.” Genophobia can also be called coitophobia. This word is also formed from the Greek term phobos and the term coitus, referring to the act of copulation in which the male reproductive organ penetrates the female reproductive tract.[1] The term erotophobia can also be used when describing genophobia. It comes from the name of the Greek god of erotic love, Eros. Genophobia can induce panic and fear in individuals, much like panic attacks. People who suffer from the phobia can be intensely affected by attempted sexual contact or just the thought of it. The extreme fear can lead to trouble in romantic relationships. Those afflicted by genophobia may stay away from getting involved in relationships to avoid the possibility of intimacy. This can lead to feelings of loneliness. Genophobic people may also feel lonely because they may feel embarrassed or ashamed of their personal fears.

 he may have it but maybe not what you meant

Dam didnt know such a simple words could mean so much

If what Gene is saying is true, minimum 1K/week = 52,000 expenses.

he also says he needs around $120/day to break even which really is 120x365 = $43,800.

So already hes losing almost $10k/year.

And with the road stories he's been telling us, there aint no way Rhea and him are clearing $10k year even with lessons.

They both should get real jobs just to break even.

Don't come around here with all your fancy maths trying to make sense of things..... Don't no one want to know all that.

Had a great day today at Pockets............

I had 3 lessons today set up at Pockets. All 3 were a great success.

When i got there Larry was at the door trying to get a lesson. i told him I already had 3 set up and my first lesson was waiting.he is leaving for a cruise at 5:00 AM so today was it.

I had him come back at 11:00 PM after the other 3 and we had some Perfect Aim fun then.

Larry also showed me a pretty sporty jump cue that i really liked. I followed him to his house and bought one.

Also Ozzy came at around 10:00 from the Action Tour over here and i showed him a little about what Perfect Aim would do for him. I hope I can hook up with him tomorrow and give him the full course.

They like their pool in Newport News and the lessons proved it for sure.

4 lessons today and 2 set up for tomorrow for sure. I'm getting a room over there tomorrow for a few days until i can get these lessons all done.

And Pockets is smoke free. A little breath of fresh air in the middle of the smoke.

SWEET..................and the Girls run a pretty nice ship here for sure. The tables are in great shape and they treat everyone good. A win win situation all the way around. They also have a ton of cues and equipment for sale also. A big plus for any pool player in the area. You can get just about anything that you want. Even a game....

This is what it takes to pump up the bankroll again. Help a few players play better pool and the rest is history.

It's tough for any player to go to any tournament and not cash. Pretty hard on anyones bankroll.

I was really pooped after the day but the satisfaction of helping so many players feels pretty cool.

NC will have to wait until I can get out of Dodge. ( Newport News )

Pleasure

It was a pleasure meeting Gene last night. We didn't have much time for him to fully explain his "system" but he explained as much as he could before his next lesson came in. I will admit that he didn't have enough time to completely sell me but he was a true gentleman and I am interested in speaking with him some more if time allows.

It is also great to see that Gene doesn't just promote himself but he also promotes the room. This little room in Newport News used to be THE place for good action in Hampton Roads. The economy was tough on the room but it has managed to stay afloat and now we are all trying to get the action back in there.

The expenses thing is interesting.

For life on the road to work it seems like they may need to make a couple of changes. The first thing is Gene probably needs to start doing a better job of scheduling his lessons. He could book them way in advance before he heads into town. From following this thread it seems like Gene picks towns based on whether or not there is a tournament there (or some action), then when he gets there he tries to set up some lessons. I don't know if this is the best way to go about business. But what do I know? Don't answer that!

He could lower his rate for lessons, provided he has them setup in advance. Then go to that town knowing that he's already got some lessons booked. He could even give a discount based on paying a certain percentage up front. Get a buddy to set up a lesson and you get another discount. Now that I think of it -- this could be Rhea's job.

I think one of the problems with trying to set up a lesson in the tournament environment is most players don't really want to mess with their games while they are competing in a tournament. There's nothing like trying to make a change while you are in the midst of a tourney.

My other free piece of advice, and it's probably worth about that, is Gene needs to diversity his approach to lessons. I think a lot of people are turned off when they constantly hear about Perfect Aim (like it or not). I think he has a lot more to offer potential students than just Perfect Aim -- no matter how great it may be.

How about Perfect Stroke?

How about Perfect Position?

How about Perfect Bar Table Pool?

Pick 3 out of the 4 and you may just have the Perfection Trinity.

I watched Gene play last year and regardless of how things turned out against Bartram, Geno can play some pool, especially on that bar table.

Gene

Gene,
Jeez, can you give it a rest already? I've heard all I'll ever need to hear about getting your eyes lined up with your shot.

I took your lesson. Nothing revolutionary there. $200 a lesson now? Can that be right?

You are a nice guy but I am sick of your perfect aim crap.

If you don't have a good stroke, aim is secondary. BTW, I think you should go back to playing with a Meucci. Seriously.

You can line them up on the target all you want and not hit the target. It works both ways.

I show players all the time that have terrible strokes and the results are trementous right away once the eyes are right.

In fact once the eyes are in the right position they can even see the stroke is crooked and straighten it out.

Are you saying I quit helping players play better than they have ever played.

Most players ability is way ahead of their eye position. You need to play an awful lot to keep these eyes in the most natural position to envision the shot perfectly.

I just help the eyes catch up to everything else. This is why the quick results.

If you had a lesson in the early stages of my teaching Perfect Aim you missed out on most of the new info that has evolved Perfect Aim into what it is today.

The lesson has been $200 for about 2 to 3 years. If you had the new info you might feel different.

Good Luck with your game.

Call me for the free phone lesson and I will share the new info with you. No charge. Just trying

You won't regret it for sure. :grin-square::wink:715-563-8712

Geno,
Did you even read what I posted? I am not going to call you with questions. Lol!!!

You can get you and your girl played in Denver!? Call Felt Billiards for an appointment.

I will guarantee you 2k minimum if you play. Rhea gets 2 to 1 on the money with any game we negotiate.

Wow,,, That's a great offer.........

I will guarantee you 2k minimum if you play. Rhea gets 2 to 1 on the money with any game we negotiate.

Unfortunately I'm in Virginia right now.

Glad to see your playing good enough to make this offer.

If you can keep up with me you could offer Rhea 10 to 1 on the money and you should have no problem winning.

Can you keep up with Mark Haddod? He is one of my favorite people, players out there. And his girlfriend, Melissa is a close second.

Say hi to them for me.

If so it would be a good game for sure.

If i get close to Denver I will look you up.

Glad to see things are going good in Denver. Great pool town.

I was there for about 6 weeks back in 2009. Met allot of nice people and made some great friends.

If I do get back there you would get real tired of Perfect Aim for sure. I have a list of 6 players to give lessons to when i get out there.

My health and energy is on the right track.

Good luck and keep running out....

Thanks geno.........

Met Steve tonight at break Away Billiards

They got it going on for sure at Break away.

Packed house 5 nights a week with APA leagues. The greatest poll concept and leagues in the country.

Steve is a very gracious host. Any teacher that comes through here is welcome for sure.

It's not a mistake that the business thrives here as he is so good with the players. it's like one big family.

I set up a table and worked with the players all night long. As usual I had as much fun as they did showing them how to make this game a little bit easier.

Might have to stay for the weekend. Can't foresee getting all the lessons done before that.

Great place to live and play pool.

Newport News, Virginia.

Another good night at Breakaway..........

Got there at 6:00 and the league players were just getting there.

I had a full lesson at 8:00 with B,T Ellis. As usual this went really well and he could see the shots clearly. He commented on how things had been a little rough with his game but soon the shots were just rolling in.

We also had a great conversation about being diabetic. I share some info with him on that also. I hope everyone can get this under control.

Then the league players started coming over. I had 3 players come over that were 3's out of the first 4 players. As usual i had these girls firing the ball straight in after about 10 minutes. Their husbands and team members were very impressed.

All together I showed about 15 players a Perfect Aim mini lesson and scheduled another 2 lessons.

Then after that we headed over to Pockets. Most of the players were gone but the owners daughter was there. She plays at a pretty high level. might be the best woman player in the area.

I showed her how Perfect Aim worked and she was in Awe. I'll be going back there tomorrow to show her the whole thing. her game will climb up in a quick hurry. This was real fun . Opened up a whole new world she couldn't even imagine.

Back at the room and have a couple of players that have called and left voice messages wanting lessons. It looks like I will be staying here for about a week more.

Great pool area with a huge thirst for knowledge.

There is a qualifier for some big tourny here on the east coast at Pockets on the 9th. Looks like we will be staying here until then with so many lessons and then head over to Midlothian, Virginia and work with the leagues at Diamond Billiards. Looks like a great place to play pool. Nice setup and can't wait to get there.

Got to get some sleep. Busy day tomorrow.

One man a van and the road......

Will do for sure......

Gene ... say Hi to CueRepairman Rayman [Raymond Walter for Bob and Linda Watson], at Diamond Billiard in Midlothian, Virginia . He also a league player and was an apprentice at Parrot Cue.

https://www.facebook.com/raymond.walters.96

This sure looks like a great pool hall. I talked to Bob and he sounds really excited and upbeat about pool.

What we all need in this pool world of ours.

Looking forward to meeting Raymond, Bob and Linda.

Thanks....
