Once again, buyers beware...this sale was a ripoff attempt!!

Rikki Tikki is a Mongoose, not a Gay Honey Badger.

So, what is the plural of Mongoose. Mongooses, Mongeese, or Mongi?

But, ya wanna see nasty, check out a Wolverine. Pound for pound, one of the nastiest little fellas around. They will take on a bear no problem.

They would rip a Tasmanian Devils Head off and shit down their neck.

My last encounter with a Black Bear last summer. He went into the tree line and listened to me while I talked to him. I wasn't going any further than the shoulder as I know how fast they can come at you. I could have coaxed him out with some food but was tired and wanted to get home.
I know its really stupid but most wild animals don't frighten me. I just keep my distance.

Wolverines are extremely smart also.

you probably would have had a better chance getting this situation made right by using someone with a decent reputation who can communicate in a professional manner.

Hope you get it figured out, karma has already been biting Glen on the ass recently, don't let it bite you for his lack of integrity.[/QUOTE]

hi you are in Nor Car too? great! I did look/ ask around about table mechanics in my area ( Humboldt County) but didn’t find anyone who seemed as to know about pool tables as realkingcobra does. Perhaps you can recommend?
What Glen did with the mess of mismatched parts I received was amazing. I really doubt if anyone could have done better.
Glen started with GC2 rails that looked like a dog had been chewing on them, with the original factory cushions all hard and filthy (from the 1970's era) GC3 wooden side pieces that did not fit the GC2 rails that came with it, a GC4 frame with no center stringer, slates from some other gc model that didn’t fit the GC2 rails that came with the ( I couldn’t even call it a pool table) pile of parts Jerry delivered. He TRANSFORMED the pile of mismatched parts into a superb looking and playing 1 piece slate playing table with beautiful rebuilt rails and hand made the center stringer to factory specs, if you know of a table mechanic in Northern California who does this table work of this quality, please post name and contact number as a resource to all in our state.

It was quite a shock, and I was very dismayed when Glen explained and showed me how the pieces didn’t fit together and parts were missing, but he didn’t say, “ well call me when you get the right pieces”, and leave me devastated. He stayed for 2 weeks with other jobs waiting to build the missing pieces, he hounded Jerry and got him to ship me a stringer, which was of no use as it was also the wrong model, informed the AZ community about the bad business Jerry does, hunted down the correct parts and was able to create a top notch table and make my dream table that.

Now if you were one of his “pending jobs” you would be getting edgy about it, but what if the shoe were on the other foot? If he is late getting to you or misses deadlines, there is a good possibility he is helping someone else straighten out their table problems too.

Most people think ( me included) ” its all about them, and their pool table” is it naturally difficult to be patient when something you want so badly is in a state of delay.

While Glen is un conventional and certainly not a mainstream 8 to 5 business person, he is a perfectionist at his craft, and is passionate about improving of pool table creation and design. He has years of experience and has dealt with probably every table designed, and has innovative ideas about product design. That is why I waited 3 months for him to pass by my area. He went to bat for me with the seller who is 3500 miles away and called him to task on the shady slippery deal he did with me, (and countless others like me that don’t know what to look for when a bunch of big heavy parts are delivered)
So please share who you might be recommending in Norther Calif that can do a comparable job. Pic attached..

Wendy,

No one is disputing the fact that Glen does incredible work. What people here DO care about is the fact that there have been threads started by people who have been screwed over by Glen and the threads turn into a pissing match by Glen and they get deleted.

I waited for about two years for Glen to get to L.A. to do my table. I discussed it with him on the phone, got a quote on the job from him and told him to go ahead. After all that, he sends some one else out to do my table. If I had wanted someone else to do my table, I would have hired them. I hired Glen and he lied to me. On top of all that, he never apologized, never offered to make it right. Great business ethics.

Somehow with Glen he is wired to never be able to accept fault or blame. He screws people over, keeps their rails for months on end and at the end of the day he says its their fault and won't return their money. That is BS.

Congrats on finally getting your table set up and I'm sure it will play incredible.
