One of a kind GC3, Rick Shellhouse's new table.

Glenn....Awesome....That is insane! You have done it again..You are truely a Master Mechanic...:bow-down: Thanks for all your help over the years.

Thank you Pat, but this table was the first....and LAST time I'm ever going through all this work...what a job. Now, all I have to do is finish bolting the table together and Rick is the lucky winner of a ONE OF A KIND GC3...LOL

That's a Fantastic Job Glen....I expect nothing less from you....But for sure your one sick individual....with and amazing imagination like no other.
The pocket work is awesome.....BUT NO-ONE...AND I DO MEAN NO-ONE CAN CLOTH A POOL TABLE BETTER THAN YOU.....(BAR NONE)

Great Job....now everyone's going to want you to do that to their tables....LMAO
I really don't think to many will have the chance of having that done....but ya never know.....anything for a friend for a fee.....LMAO

See Ya soon....with my slate.....LMAO

Glen....that table looks awesome.....don't think you will ever out do that one.
Hope you got a big Christmas bonus for that kind of work.

GC4 Pockets really look good on the 3s.

Glen,
Helluva job as usual, :clapping: but curious minds want to know... why?:scratchhead:

Some poor mechanic will come along 50 years from now to work on that table and be in for a real treat!

Working on this GC3 would be the easiest GC there ever was to recover, pocket plates unbolt freeing up the pocket to pull the flaps down and under the slate, bolt them back in place and the pockets are done right then and there...no need to staple anything on the slate...LOL

I did it because...well, aahhh....hmmm...."I had a dream"...lmao...more of a nightmare as it turned out, but I like I said...it's a one of a kind. I guess the real reason I did this table this way was just to see how it would turn out in the end, and Rick was a great customer to do it for, as he was very patient waiting on me to get to his house with the table, and the week I stayed at his house working on building out this one of a kind.

So, to me it was more than likely just the challenge because no one had ever done something like this before...ever:D

Like to see someone take so much pride in their work. Table mechanics around here treat it like a chore that they're hoping to wrap up as soon as possible. You seem to feel like each table is your baby and must play perfect.

Just FYI glen if you ever wrote a book on how to do this job properly, I'd buy a copy in a heartbeat.

Sorry It took so long to chime in...but I was busy playing...*S*...

When Glen told me a little over 4 months ago what he wanted to do...I thought for a minute and said sure....and this is the result...It took a little over a week to complete and plenty of sweat but I have to say I am the proud owner of RKC masterpiece table...I really dont think he can top this

Mark, as I told you the phone, to take the pocket blocks out all that one needs to do is remove the 2 bolts that hold them in place, then just slide them straight out, you can see the bolts in these pictures taken from under the table. ;)

Down the rail...

I'm not sure but I think that is against BCA rules. I guess it's okay though, as I doubt you will be sponsoring any BCA events from out of your house.

Nice table. The hall for my individual league is almost just like that.

Congratulations,

hmmm, then Diamond's must be against BCA rules too I guess, because this GC3 has the exact same slate/pocket and rail specifications as a brand new Diamond 9ft ProAm...used in most all major tournaments today;)
